Rockefeller: Senate Commerce Committee considering hearings into Christie’s bridge scandal

Democrats clearly want to make as big of a political mountain out of this scandal as they possibly can. Wish they we’re damned hypocrites when it comes to Obama and his many scandals:

ROLL CALL – The Senate Commerce Committee is “ready to pounce” on the controversy surrounding September lane closures on the New Jersey end of the George Washington Bridge.

That’s what Chairman Jay Rockefeller, D-W.Va., said of himself and the Commerce Committee’s investigative staff. Rockefeller also said there “might be” Senate hearings into the matter, which has embroiled New Jersey GOP Gov. Chris Christie, depending on how things go.

Asked if the committee might take a broader look at the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, which operates the bridge, Rockefeller replied: “That’s a question too far right now, because the feds are all over it right now.”
