Saturday evening reports started coming in from Iraq that the “Green Zone” where Baghdad’s governmental buildings are located was being filled up with the military after a speech from Prime Minister Maliki refusing to relinquish control of the country currently under attack from ISIS. As the report from CNN below relates, Obama had put a lot of stock in this change of government, so this is bad news for just about everyone involved.
