OK, let me get this straight. So the Washington Post shouldn’t dig up dirt on Trump because it’s going to “backfire”? This is exactly what Trump’s idiotic army of morons say online – anything you do against Trump just helps him. Soooo, what does that leave us? Only complete and total acquiescence to Trump? How absurd.
This also shows that Rush is afraid of the online army of degenerates that buzz around Trump like flies on excrement. Clearly he’s been brow-beaten into submission by them and his trauma is leading him to caution others against speaking against emperor Trump.
Rush is basically just telling his Trump listeners what they want to hear. This is a lazy boring excuse for political analysis and it’s really a shame because Rush used to be pretty principled and terrible insightful. Now all we’ll hear out of him is empty Trump talking points. If I wanted that I would go to Greta Van Susteren. Or Bill O’Reilly. Or Sean Hannity. Or Eric Bolling…. y’all keep the list going in the comments if you want.
