Rush Limbaugh says disappointed Trump supporters hit with ‘overwhelming PESSIMISM’ over debate

Rush continues to make bewildering nonsense arguments on his radio show. Today he reassured disappointed Trump supporters that he didn’t lose the debate because Trump supporters aren’t disappointed. Yes, really, he said Trump supporters are disappointed, but they shouldn’t be, because Trump supporters aren’t disappointed.

Try to make sense out of this:

At about the 4:30 mark, he talks about Trump supporters who were angry that he missed a bunch of opportunities to rail on Hillary. At 5:20, he says Trump supporters had “overwhelming pessimism” and were completely disappointed.

But at the 7 minute mark, he says that Trump didn’t lose, exactly because his supporters weren’t disappointed. He also says that people don’t see Trump the standard ways we measure politicians – but he’s talking to those exact people and telling them not to be disappointed. So… he’s shocked that people are disappointed because he knows those same people aren’t disappointed.

Rush continues that this is playing out exactly as it did in the primaries, but I don’t remember his trying to reassure Trump supporters that he ever lost then. It’s as if he’s trying to fashion some fantasy where Trump hasn’t failed, in order to persuade people that know he failed to believe that he didn’t fail.

It’s gonna be a long election, my gringo friends.
