Sarah Palin at National Review on reactions to Washington Navy Yard shooting.
Her article shows that she is thinking about how we, as a nation, should respond to such an immense tragedy.
Excerpt:
The first thing politicians ask after these tragedies is essentially: “What can we do to limit the freedom of the people?”
And that is the wrong question. The question we should be asking is: “What can we do to nurture and support a people capable of living in freedom?”
For those who have been following the usual, leftist political circus that always emerges in the wake of the death of innocents, Palin’s article is a reminder that calm reflection on our heritage before taking action is a better way to honor those who are harmed by senseless violence.
