This is Sarah Palin at her best, taking Obama’s plan to bomb Syria apart piece by piece and obliterating it:

“So we’re bombing Syria because Syria is bombing Syria? And I’m the idiot?” – Sarah Palin

* President Obama wants America involved in Syria’s civil war pitting the antagonistic Assad regime against equally antagonistic Al Qaeda affiliated rebels. But he’s not quite sure which side is doing what, what the ultimate end game is, or even whose side we should be on. Haven’t we learned? WAGs don’t work in war.

* We didn’t intervene when over 100,000 Syrians were tragically slaughtered by various means, but we’ll now intervene to avenge the tragic deaths of over 1,000 Syrians killed by chemical weapons, though according to the White House we’re not actually planning to take out the chemical weapons because doing so would require “too much of a commitment.”

* President Obama wants to do what, exactly? Punish evil acts in the form of a telegraphed air strike on Syria to serve as a deterrent? If our invasion of Iraq wasn’t enough of a deterrent to stop evil men from using chemical weapons on their own people, why do we think this will be?

* The world sympathizes with the plight of civilians tragically caught in the crossfire of this internal conflict. But President Obama’s advertised war plan (which has given Assad enough of a heads-up that he’s reportedly already placing human shields at targeted sites) isn’t about protecting civilians, and it’s not been explained how lobbing U.S. missiles at Syria will help Syrian civilians. Do we really think our actions help either side or stop them from hurting more civilians?

* We have no clear mission in Syria. There’s no explanation of what vital American interests are at stake there today amidst yet another centuries-old internal struggle between violent radical Islamists and a murderous dictatorial regime, and we have no business getting involved anywhere without one. And where’s the legal consent of the people’s representatives? Our allies in Britain have already spoken. They just said no. The American people overwhelmingly agree, and the wisdom of the people must be heeded.

* Our Nobel Peace Prize winning President needs to seek Congressional approval before taking us to war. It’s nonsense to argue that, “Well, Bush did it.” Bull. President Bush received support from both Congress and a coalition of our allies for “his wars,” ironically the same wars Obama says he vehemently opposed because of lack of proof of America’s vital interests being at stake.

* Bottom line is that this is about President Obama saving political face because of his “red line” promise regarding chemical weapons.

* As I said before, if we are dangerously uncertain of the outcome and are led into war by a Commander-in-chief who can’t recognize that this conflict is pitting Islamic extremists against an authoritarian regime with both sides shouting “Allah Akbar” at each other, then let Allah sort it out.

Lotta folks still don’t get it, Obama is a card carrying member of the Muslim Brotherhood.  His fellow Muslim at CIA, Brennan, will give him the nod when bombing will be most advantageous to their beloved Brotherhood.  It’s the Obama Caliphate.

Seems to me we are doing this because England wants it.  I heard someone on the radio the other day who had lived in Syria for years and seems to be aware of the situation.  He says they had a HUGE oil find.  Which is the same reason Russia doesn’t want the attack since they are allies and would benefit from this.  Didn’t France lead the charge to oust Ghaddafi and didn’t I hear that was because of their oil and they were a major supplier to France?

In the picture above I see Palin not saluting like the soilders are.
Technically, who is allowed to salute?
Is it only retired or current servicemen? Im assuming the president can salute since he is the commander. But then sometimes I see them with the heart on chest instead of a salute?
Can someone in the know tell us how the saluting thing officially works?

Governor Palin should be running for president not senator from Alaska and she needs to stop her own dithering about doing so.  I would support her should she do so.
I hope that Governor Palin will run for president but I know she will never be allowed to win the GOP nomination and so I honestly believe she needs to run for president as either a conservative Independent or as a conservative 3rd party candidate.  And as I believe, it will be a third party that is needed to get through the necessary number of state legislatures, Mark Levin’s proposal to have a states’ constitutional convention to deal with the Liberty Ammendments he has proposed and any others that come forward for consideration.  So to that end, I think Sarah Palin should put together a 3rd conservative political party with Ted Cruz, Mark Levin and others for the express purpose of bringing about a States’ Constitutional Convention and for putting forward a candidate to run for president of the United States of America and a slate of candidates throughout the nation to challenge the status quo.
    Well said Governor Palin.

Lol…so Obama was going to go it alone without congressional approval?  Now it looks like he will have to beg congress for money to have a war!

    http://freebeacon.com/pentagon-cant-afford-syria-operation-must-seek-additional-funds/
The U.S. military, struggling after defense cuts of tens of billions
of dollars, will be unable to pay for attacks on Syria from current
operating funds and must seek additional money from Congress, according
    to congressional aides.
President Barack Obama, meanwhile, said on Friday he has not made a
final decision on a military strike against Syria. He sought to play
down both the scope and duration of the anticipated punitive missile and
    bombing campaign.
The costs of planned Syria strikes using cruise missile ships
currently deployed in the Eastern Mediterranean were not disclosed by
Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel, Adm. James Winnefeld, vice chairman of
the Joint Chiefs of Staff, and several other high-ranking administration
officials during a telephone briefing Thursday night for congressional
    leaders.
However, estimates of the limited-duration strike are expected to be in the hundreds of millions of dollars.
“The secretary indicated that the administration would consult with
Congress on the cost of exercising a potential military option, but
specific dollar amounts weren’t discussed,” a senior defense official
when asked about the funding shortfalls.
Gen. Martin Dempsey, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, stated in
a July 19 letter to the Senate Armed Services Committee, that
larger-scale military operations would cost hundreds of millions or
billions, depending on the number of forces and the duration of the
    operations.
For example, training and assisting Syrian opposition forces would
cost $500 million annually and “limited” standoff missile and air
strikes would cost in the “billions.” Operating a no-fly zone would cost
about $1 billion per month, and the cost of using special operations
forces to control chemical weapons would be “over” $1 billion monthly.
A congressional aide familiar with the congressional leaders’
briefing said Hagel and Winnefeld made clear the Pentagon would need to
“work” with Congress to obtain supplemental funding for Syria attacks.
“Good luck with that,” the aide said, reflecting widespread concern
among congressional Republicans with the Obama administration’s defense
    cuts.
The Pentagon leaders said unlike the 2011 military operations against
Libya, there are not enough operating funds to conduct the attack on
    Syria.

    Sarah Palin, May 2011
… I can tell you what I believe that criteria should be in five points.
First, we should only commit our forces when clear and vital American interests are at stake. Period.
Second, if we have to fight, we fight to win. To do that, we use overwhelming force. We only send our troops into war with the objective to defeat the enemy as quickly as possible. We do not stretch out our military with open-ended and ill-defined missions. Nation building is a nice idea in theory, but it is not the main purpose of our armed forces. We use our military to win wars.
Third, we must have clearly defined goals and objectives before sending troops into harm’s way. If you can’t explain the mission to the American people clearly and concisely, then our sons and daughters should not be sent into battle. Period.
Fourth, American soldiers must never be put under foreign command. We will fight side by side with our allies, but American soldiers must remain under the care and the command of American officers.
Fifth, sending in our armed forces should be the last resort. We don’t go looking for dragons to slay. However, we will encourage the forces of freedom around the world who are sincerely fighting for the empowerment of the individual. When it makes sense, when it’s appropriate, we will provide them with material support to help them win their own freedom.

As always, Gov. Sarah Palin is right.  We could have had her as CIC in 2012.  Americans passed.  It’s like the story of the man stranded in a boat. He asks God to save him so 3 times God sent help in the form of rescue teams.  The man passed citing he was waiting on “God” to save him. When he drowned he asked God why didn’t he help him.  God told him “I sent you help 3 different times and you wouldn’t take it.”
When Palin’s advisor didn’t see enough support for her she opted out and got behind Newt Gingrich.  But voters still wouldn’t decide on a worthy person to get us out of the hellhole started by Bush and continued by inexperienced and unqualified obama.
Conservatives claim the mantle of “holier than thou” but don’t have the guts to pick a good candidate to represent us if their halo isn’t glowing enough or they do not fit their outdated view of what a president should look like (aka suit and tie).  People are slobbering over Ted Cruz who probably isn’t even legally qualified to be president and certainly does not have the courage, insight or experience that Sarah Palin has.  Wake up America.

SLAAAAAM !!!      LOL  Luv It   !!!
    Obama
and his crony henchmen/women, aka Democrats, are not about America first- they
are all about their political ideological agenda, and in Obama’s case, it’s all
about installing islamic muslim terrorist groups he likes, like the Muslim
Brotherhood in control of all Arab States in the Middle East.
    The
islamist Al-Queda affiliated terrorist groups in Syria, are NOT Freedom
Fighters (as stated by that leftist Obama McRINO tool idiot McCain). What, why,
and to whom do you think all those Surface to Air missiles, and other military
weaponry were secretly transferred from Libya to Syria by the CIA were
    for.
    Obama,
along with his useful idiot McRINO tools have but one goal, and it’s not to
free the Syrian people of Assad’s tyranny- it’s to replace Assad with a
pro-Muslim Brotherhood Islamist extremist regime- and as noble as some might
think that to be, it is not.

  • colliemum

I hope this will be the final straw for getting impeachment rolling – because I am convinced that the POS in the WH will not go before Congress because, in his opinion, it’s not a war, just a few missiles being thrown for a couple of days, in a ‘punishment’ action.
Consequences? World peace? Nah – the POS has spoken and that’s that.
Sarah is spot on as usual.

  • clubgitmo

Maybe we can shoot rubber cruise missiles at Syria.

  • Amjean

Glad she joined in the “just say no to war with Syria” crowd, however, it is my opinion that we need to quit tip toeing around Obama’s agenda.  It is not composed only of incompetence, inconsistency, or even weakness.  I believe something much more nefarious is going on with Obama’s thug administration.  That said, Palin is helping sound the “gong” with conservatives that a strike on Syria is seriously wrong.  Many already believe that the “chemical weapon” excuse for going to war may be a “wag the dog” situation.
I believe that Obama is trying to install the Muslim Brotherhood as the government in the Middle East.  There is something huge going on and it will start coming out soon.  Call it what you will, backed by the bankers, Saudi Arabia, Muslim Brotherhood, the Sunnis, etc., there is a master plan somewhere, a script, if you will, of what the end game is.
It is difficult to follow the dots; eventually, however, someone will.

  • sDee

    Amjean
there is indeed. the pattern repeats. globalism.
America and our Constitution are their final obstacle.

  • colliemum

You all remember the left shouting ‘Bushitler’?
Well, here’s irony for you: if the POS starts his little punishment bombardment tomorrow, then a very great number of people in Europe will recall the start of WWII.
Hitler had launched a false-flag incident at the German-Polish border, and then told the German masses: “since 5.45 we are returning fire”.
    Would the POS know that?

  • yazz55

To add my 2 cents worth…
While its apparently clear that chemical weapons were used.  Its not clear just who is using them.  So, there is no way if the obamessiah is even targeting the correct party.

  • ernst1776

Sarah knows!  She knew 5 yrs. ago and she knows even better today that Obama is a fraud.  I’m thrilled she is calling him out and hope she is just getting started.  We Americans need real speak and no more DC speak.

Time has run out for the Republican party. We will no longer vote for their Progressives-in-a-Poke. Why bother? They always vote wiht the Democrats. They never stand on principle. Hell they never even bother to fight.

Time has run out for us too. The 2014 Primaries are crucial. We have to find, fund and hit the streets for true conservatives, Tea Party and libertarian candidates. By the time we get served up the next General Election ballot of Republican incumbents and new Progressive Republicans it will be too late.

  • StandProudNow

wodiej”When Palin’s advisor didn’t see enough support for her she opted out and got behind Newt Gingrich.”

    wodiej
As a HUGE Sarah supporter, I must admit it’s highly doubtful she will run in 2016 so we must choose on reality and not wishful thinking.
However, Ted Cruz does appear to be running and is far more qualified than comrade obamatollah. My hat is in with Cruz – a true, Constitutional Conservative and unafraid to stand up to evil – ala Sarah.
Definitely no more liberal RINOs – Rubio, Bush (any of them), etc…

  • wodiej

freeperjim wodiej that’s a low standard to set for president-better than obama. I would be better than obama.  I’m not voting for another man for president until we get some sense and put someone like Gov. Palin on the ticket.  If she knew she had the support, I am certain she would go for it and I think it’s her calling.

  • wodiej

StandProudNow wodiej it’s a FACT that she hired an experienced, well known advisor named Peter Schweizer.  Here is the link since you can’t take the time to google it.  I did not personally speak with Gov. Palin on this particular issue but common sense would dictate there would be no need for her to hire someone like this if she was not considering a run for president. She waited until late summer 2011 before she announced she would not be running.  If she’d had the support, I believe she would have gone for it.

As I said, it’s VERY, VERY doubtful Sarah is running for President in 2016.
That’s why I’m supporting Cruz – the only Constitutional Conservative that offers any hope to save America which is PRIORITY #1.
That said, a Cruz/Palin ticket may be the only vehicle to have Sarah “in the game” and be able to effectuate true change.
To say you’re not voting for another man is narrow-minded & hate filled sexist bigotry that is unbecoming any God fearing conservative patriot.

We don’t really know why she decided not  to run.  Your first post made it sound as if it was a fact that she didn’t run due to lack of support when it is just your personal opinion.

Here’s a simple suggestion that might go a long way to enabling Obama to both save face and actually do something constructive in response to the WMD use.  Propose immediate legislation to Congress to put in place a policy of capital market sanctions when “red lines” are crossed! This would include the use of WMDs, or when other crimes against humanity, genocide, or serious war crimes are committed by any party……government or rebel faction. This way, any corporation….whether privately owned or state owned….which was in a business partnership with the guilty party  would be immediately de-listed from the New York (and all other) stock exchanges. No babies would be bombed; no “collateral damage”; no refugees created; no destruction of valuable infrastructure…..and it would all be 100% legal. The only ones who would suffer would be the fat cat CEO’s and wealthy shareholders of these miscreant corporations.

Wisdom from the heartland.  Sarah is like the Sergeants who win the wars. The Generals get the glory, but the bedrock heart of the troops is led by Sergeants.

It’s not about the chemical weapons……it’s about the natural gas pipelines that will supply Europe. Russia has one in place and Qatar wants one to compete with them. Syria is the key country in the path for a land based pipeline. It’s about money and energy. Just like Afghanistan and Iraq and Libya. Saudis and Qataris are the biggest sponsor of the rebel forces in Syria. It’s time to eliminate Saudi Arabia. The biggest bunch of snakes the world has ever had to deal with. Oh, and Syria has an independent central bank that’s not tied to the BIS/Rothschild/Federal Reserve/ECB banking cartel. Can’t have that, either.

  • BetseyRoss

God bless Sarah Palin for her common sense and wisdom.  Too bad more people didn’t pay attention to her nomination speech back in 2008.  She nailed Obama to the wall and told America exactly who he was and what was likely to happen if he became President.  The pathetic dolts just couldn’t wait to trash her and her family for no reason except that she states the truth.   They call the Right  judgemental.  Darn riight we are.  If you aren’t paying attention and don’t make these judgements your life starts to sipiral out of control.  That’s what we have now and no one on the Left can seem to figure it out.

Some of these babies are killed by chemicals inserted in the womb and others have their backs broken?   Others have their necks broken and and parts of their bodies torn apart.  I don’t know what politicians call it, but I call it murder?   There have been many, many women who have died after having an Aborations from infections or bleed to death. We need to get our own house in order before we start another useless war.   Muslims have been fighting each other for hundreds of years. We do not need anymore of our men and women killed so a president who has been threatening for years about the red line?   obama is trying to take the focus off of all the crap he has done and is doing!!  Look who is calling the kettle black.

  • john11111

Gay Nell Harper:…. “Children are murdered by the thousands everyday in America”…And if a baby survive the abortion, meaning – is STILL alive, it has to “finished off”.
    Guess who voted for it?
Yep, you did not guessed it…..You KNOW it.

We are the future. There is only today for this regime. The Real USA of the people start now. Not Waliking in fear of the Current oligarchy. They have the machine of big political bosses and  the tyranny of thier unholy whoredoms.  We must take this nation back. The voters vote was stolen last election  right out of our hands. When Gods people mount upon the shoulders of Christ. He will be our Victor. A detailed study of Psalm 83 will reveal the Work of the Lord. The Old testament does not only bring  Gods hand for yesterday-only. It brings us Victory for our tomorrow and our days to come.

I have a friend who does NOT like Sarah Palin, due to the shallow stream media that produces more noxious effluvia than it produces potable drinking water, so to speak, to maintain the metaphor.
    So.
Instead of asking him to read Sarah Palin’s awesome analysis of I-I-I-OCCUPY-America–in-Chief Obama’s shallow thinker ‘yes-we-can’ get our butts kicked in Syria silliness, I will read her post to him in small doses.
    That always works.
Now he’s listening to Mark Levin and Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity, AND, he’s even letting me read portions of Mark’s book The Liberty Amendments to him as the news deals with subjects that are also in the book, such as the SCOTUS ignoring the original intent of the Commerce clause.

I am not talking about Sarah Palin!!   My message is, America is murdering thousands and thousands of babies by calling it Abortion!!  Women are using this terrible procedure for birth control!!   They do not have to keep these babies because there are millions of Americans who are trying to adopt these precious gifts!  We all make bad choices in life, but we have to deal with it!   If these murderers would use birth control this would not be so rampant?  I understand there is rape, but they can give the baby away after it is born!!  We all have terrible things happen to us in this imperfect world

  • standbesideherUSA

I am sickened by what I see happening to innocent children in Syria.
According to Kerry, Obama is taking the “unbelievably courageous step to go after Syria and to go to Congress about it”   COURAGEOUS?
    MAY I state the OBVIOUS?

WE are living in the LAND of OZ, my friends,  and OBAMA is playing ALL of the characters:
…The SCARECROW (or straw man), with NO BRAIN…”I’ve been to 57 states and I think I have 1 or 2 more to go.” (unbelievable..truly unbelievable….)

…The COWARDLY LION,  with NO COURAGE to even talk to a kindergarten class WITHOUT a TELEPROMPTER!.

…The TIN MAN, with NO HEART for the AMERICAN People and THEIR rights and THEIR suffering as evidenced by his ignoring of the United Stated Constitution, which he swore to uphold, affording each of us equal protection under the law (from obamacare, for example)….
…DOROTHY, who said, ”There’s no place like the GOLF COURSE.”  (poetic license)  :)
…The bicycle-riding WICKED WITCH of the NORTH, (riding a “girlie” bike on one of his MANY and EXPENSIVE vacations…

…The WIZARD of OZ, who perpetrated a fraud upon the Munchkins, until the curtain was pulled back, exposing him for what he was.
    …TOTO…..well, he was just a DOG…
…Well,  MUNCHKINS….What are we going to do now? Are we REALLY ever going to vote another lying, lilly-livered, limp, lover of  AMERICAN oppression, liberal into office again?
We”d best  use OUR BRAINS, OUR COURAGE, and OUR HEARTS in 2014 to bring AMERICA back from the Land of Oz to reality and sanity, once again….

At the age of 12, his mother sent obama back to hawaii to live with his grandparents  His grandfather found him a mentor, I assume at the request of his mother!   His grandfather did find a muslin for obama’s mentor.  If you are raised all your life as a muslim, there has been a great influence on your life?   Look how he trying to rule our nation, just like other muslim leaders? Watch the movie, obama 2012!! 12grace jrenai67 children have a right to be born into a loving, stable, healthy home.  You have a right to your opinion but personally speaking as many others would agree, a fertilized egg does not have a soul.  I don’t advocate late term abortions.  fyi
There are millions of kids in the world who are homeless, hungry, abused, lacking the love, guidance, nurturing and care that they need. How many who scream about their right to be born into this kind of situation are there to help them? Not very many or none of these kids would be lacking the needs to have a happy life.
By the way, how many of these poor kids and their mom’s have you helped with food, clothing, medical care, or just being emotionally supportive?

  • daisy_mae1

Right Scoop thank you for keeping this post by Governor Palin on the first page!

  • MelMiddleton

wodiej 12grace jrenai67  When you talk about a “soul”, you are delving into the spiritual/religious arena. How can you be so sure that a fertilized egg does not have a soul? What is your authority to make that statement? I would respectfully — and strongly — disagree with it. Certainly from a Christian perspective, based on the first chapter of Luke, we can see that a “fertilized egg” is indeed a very real human being; in this case Jesus the Messiah himself, who is only a few days or weeks gestation in the womb of Mary, being “greeted” by another very real human being, (John the Baptist), in the womb of his aunt, Elizabeth.

  • MelMiddleton

wodiej 12grace jrenai67  Many years ago, (when Roe vs Wade was in court), women who abort could be forgiven for not knowing when human life began. The “scientific” and academic world was disseminating the so-called “Recapitulation Theory of Human Embryonic Development”. In short, that “theory” (which has since been thoroughly debunked and exposed as fraudulent science) taught that the unborn child went through all the stages of evolution before becoming fully human. Therefore it was anyone’s guess when it became a “human being’. But we no longer have that excuse. With DNA, ultra sound, and other accurate scientific means, medical science leaves us with no doubt. Human life begins at conception.

  • MelMiddleton

tinlizzieowner Gay Nell Harper Marcus3127  Fat chance is right! He would have to oppose the socialist policies of those who “manage” the big cities. He would also have to stop his unwavering support for Planned Parenthood, which targets the ghettos and inner cities, resulting in the killing of a far higher per cent of black babies than those of other races. And we know he would never oppose PP!

  • USMC 64-68

    wodiej 12grace jrenai67
No soul?  What an amazing statement to make on the basis of nothing more than ideology.  That ideology reveals a dangerous world and life view – it cheapens humanity.
That cheap view of humanity is reinforced by all that follows – not only devaluing life on the basis of what’s in their belly, etc.
That view also elevates man to the place of God – deciding who is to be “allowed” to live.  That’s pretty arrogant.
And the final statement (question/challenge) has nothing to do with the issue other than a bit of emotional demagoguery to support a position that doesn’t have any facts/truth to support it – just a cheap view of life and a hypocritically elevated view of man’s authority.

  • MelMiddleton

famouswolf Very well said! Sarah Palin has been the victim of an intentional and highly sophisticated campaign of slander from America’s morally bankrupt cultural elite. She is a threat to the wasteful, and arrogant “ole boys network” in DC. It’s danged near as cool as sticking her tongue out of the corner of her mouth (no doubt a parody of a lewd idiot post-teenage coke bunny being lewd and idiotic) and giving us the foam crotch finger. How shall I say this nicely? Stay OUT of freaking Syria! — …Full Caf Americano

Barack Obama’s skankiness in this Syrian mess is the coolest thing I’ve
seen in… Wow, must be two weeks now. It’s danged near as cool as Miley Cyrus sticking
her tongue out of the corner of her mouth (no doubt a parody of a lewd idiot
post-teenage coke bunny being lewd and idiotic) and giving us the foam crotch
finger. How do I say this nicely?

    Democrats are heroes to communists.

I’m sure going to miss him, well half the year anyway.

To paraphrase Nero Obama:  Democrats are the ones that communists were looking for.

USMC 64-68, whenever Rush Limbaugh refers to John Kerry Heinz, he’ll usually say something like “John – who served in Vietnam – Kerry” or John Kerry – “who by the way served in Vietnam” as a way of disparaging Kerry for his habit of touting his sojourn in Vietnam where he was awarded something like 10 Purple Hearts and never once was wounded.
That’s the context in which I say: John Kerry – who by the war, served in Vietnam.  Of course, he was and remains a traitor to all that our founding fathers believed in and all who sacrificed everything for our nation.

Thanks John.  I seldom have the opportunity to listen to Rush, so I didn’t know of his sarcastic references.
In reality, had he not enjoyed political connections, he should have been court-martialed for his contact with the enemy in Paris.
