“Is a bear Catholic? Does the Pope live in the woods?” Sarah Palin says the answer to those questions will tell you whether we can trust our government. Both she and Eric Bolling discussed everything this morning from the IRS scandal (and abolishing it) to the Eric Snowden and the NSA snooping.

Thanks so much Scoop. Great to see her back on FOX. Of course she has never been away from the heart of the political scene and continues to lead constitutional conservatives everywhere.

  • Pancake3

Notice that she doesn’t use notes or a teleprompter?  She can actually marshall her thoughts and talk.  Unlike the current occupant of 1600 Pannsylvania Ave.

    • http://www.therightscoop.com/ therightscoop

Pancake3 Most people who do interviews don’t use notes or teleprompter. It’s a bad comparison.

      • TickTock2

therightscoop Pancake3 YOU MAY want to watch a few videos of Obama speaking during a Live interview then. He not only doesn’t discuss anything important; trying to keep the tone laughable and mocking almost to serious situations; then flash foward to when he does his speeches. All teleprompter. I voted for Obama; and I feel like an IDIOT!!!!! He is George Bush; just more PUSSIER; a little smarter (which for us is bad) and a little more SNEAKIER. all our rights are being eroded and still we sit here and argue. back in the day the president would already be impeached or better dead.

        • http://www.therightscoop.com/ therightscoop

          TickTock2 therightscoop Pancake3 Obama’s a horrible interview. No dispute.
But he doesn’t use notes or a teleprompter when he does an interview either.

        • anneinarkansas

That is why he does only soft interviews and extremely rare pressers.

        • tinlizzieowner

“But he doesn’t use notes or a teleprompter when he does an interview either.”
Oh please, Obama stumbles all over himself every time he gets caught with a question he didn’t have a pre-arranged answer for.

        • kong1967

therightscoop TickTock2  Obama doesn’t do a lot of live interviews because he’s so bad at it.  He’s no Bill Clinton, that’s for sure. One thing you have to respect about Clinton is that he is a brilliant speaker off the cuff and he was no communist dictator like Obama is.  I would die to have Clinton back in office just to get rid of Obama.

        • 1guest

TickTock2Congratulations on the evolution.  Glad you see the light!

        • Orangeone

          anneinarkansas And has a tantrum when someone forgets his speech :}

        • badbadlibs

TickTock2 May I ask why you voted for Obama? And how is even close to being GW?
P/S only those who don’t regret voting for Obama should feel like idiots.

        • cabensg

There is nothing to give respect to Bill Clinton about. Nothing. You could credit him with not being a babbling idiot in an interview but that’s credit not respect and I don’t want him back for any reason even if it was to rid us of Obama. He was every bit the two bit dictator Obama is but wasn’t allowed to get away with much of it because Republicans actually had a backbone back them.

        • Keyes

          TickTock2 therightscoop Pancake3
LOL, Obama is NOT smarter than Bush. Besides, we don’t even know what his grades were since he won’t release his transcripts.

      • http://www.therightscoop.com/ therightscoop

landscaper therightscoop Not at all. Just thought it was a bad comparison.
The difference between Obama and Palin in this regard is that Obama always lies to us and that’s why he mumbles and stumbles his way through answers. He doesn’t want to tell the truth so he goes around his elbow to his thumb wording up his answers as to give the impression that he know what he’s talking about. It’s all BS though and everybody knows it.
Palin otoh doesn’t lie which is why her answers are far more substantive and potent and why we love them.

The difference isn’t a teleprompter though, as I’ve never seen Obama use a teleprompter in an interview. It would be rather odd for him to use one, actually. And to suggest that’s why Obama fails during his interviews just shows a lack of understanding and it’s rather superficial and unsubstantive. I was simply trying to correct that understanding.
I have a question for you. Can someone question or correct a Palin fan and not be ‘testy’?

      • tinkerthinker

therightscoop landscaper Not really..sorry,, there has been an over load on the criticisms to Palin so any little thing has to be addressed. Never seen another candidate or person for that matter treated the way she was and by some still is. Can’t stand the unfairness of it.

      • badbadlibs

tinkerthinker  That’s just the plain truth. NEVER has any other candidate been treated the way Gov. Palin was/is. Even her down syndrome child isn’t off limits. And who else has someone move next door to write a scathing book? (Whatever happened to that idiot?)
If she left for outer space (and who would blame her) the left would still spend as much time hating on her as if she had become the POTUS…(oh, be still my heart!)

      • cabensg

The answer is usually no you cannot correct a Palin fan but it has never detered anyone here of having their say anyway.
I have never disagreed with anything Palin has said (excluding support for McCain for Senate) however it does take some getting used to the way she delivers her ideas in speech. Her emphasis in her sentences is hard to get used to if your not from the part of the country that speaks that way. I’d say the same for some Southerns speech patterns. I think this is why I especially enjoy her Facebook entries where her speech pattern doesn’t effect what’s written. However her unique and memorable statements such as “let Allah sort it out and “death panels”, to name a few are Reaganesque to say thel least. I’m thankful every day we have people like her on our side.

    • ernst1776

Pancake3 What Sarah Palin doesn’t use is double speak, like so many politicians do.  She plainly and clearly tells you what she is thinking with no hesitation.  One know that she isn’t guarding her words.

    • tinlizzieowner

      Pancake3
The truth from a year ago is as easy to remember as if it was yesterday (Palin).
A lie from last week is hard to recollect without notes or a teleprompter. (Obama).
      ;-)

    • kong1967

Pancake3 “uh, um,….uh….bear with me, I can’t hear myself think”.  Mr. teleprompter in chief.  Kinda hard to use a teleprompter or notes unless you know the questions ahead of time.

  • ningrim

love Palin but she should take a page from Lady Thatcher and practice modulating her speech patterns
It’s not fair but it’s a reality if she wants to change people’s perceptions of her and be taken more seriously.

    • tinkerthinker

ningrim That’s funny….Her voice was great! Maybe you meant to criticize what she is wearing instead.

      • ningrim

I love her principles and policy positions and character, but she doesn’t articulate our side’s arguments as well as Ted Cruz or Rand Paul

        • tinkerthinker

ningrim I think she does! Yep The more the merrier.

        • tinkerthinker

Besides I would never say Rand has a whiny voice, no that would be too petty.

        • LETMEBECLEAR

ningrim I think you have been watching to much msnbc. She does articulate  “our sides arguments”  quite well… straight to the point and fearless. If you want O’idiots style of lies and presentation. She’s not for you.

I like Sarah and love her character and would vote for her in a second (as long as her illegal immigration views are not what she was saying when she was running as VP). She is a great speaker too. I just agree that she should work on her speaking voice as it does get screechy.
After Thatcher died, I read an article about her and it said she actually worked on her speaking voice. Making a conscious effort to keep her voice at a low  and a steady tone and not letting it get too high.
There is nothing wrong with saying someone should work on their speaking voice.

        • Keyes

Sarah Palin–near perfect in rhetoric and tone…Sarah Palin for Senator, would be great…can you imagine her on the Senate floor?

Spending a few moments on the web this beautiful, sunny afternoon and it was made more brighter after listening to Gov Palin!  Right on Palin!  She said it quite succinctly, “Washington is for Sale” and that is the problem and why many that conduct our business in our house must retire, be primaried, or found unfit to lead!  I can think of a few (or a lot)!
Thanks RS for makin’ my day!

  • Always a Marine

Program after program of subversion of the Constitution and our individual rights.
Democrats don’t like comparisons with tyrants and fascists.  I don’t know how else you would describe this.

  • Willie Heath

Nice to see your beautiful face on TV again Sister Sarah,  so refreshing to have a common sense, honest commentary on the State of he Nation, right on!

  • white531

Sarah gives meaning to any conversation regarding Freedom.  Because Sarah exemplifies what Freedom really means. It doesn’t get any more simple than that.
Freedom, in itself, is not a complicated thing.  It never has been, since the founding of this country.
Do what you want to do, let me do  what I want to do.  That’s pretty much it.
I don’t think most of who live by our own means, have a problem with that. But apparently, the Federal Damned Government has a big problem with that.  And there lies the problem.

  • John_Frank

RS, thanks for posting this video.
    Excellent interview.

  • DocBarry1

I hope that Fox News finds ways to give her more time and/or let her have a show periodically. I would like to see her in her SUV traveling the country interviewing Americans about the scandals, the issues of the day etc

    • RefudiateGOPe

DocBarry1 That would be outstanding. I can see it now. Palin out on the road talking to everyday folks and the media chasing her around to find out what she’s doing.

For the sake of argument he’s successful. Then what happens?  What do people want?

      • poorhardworker

Valin poorhardworker A government that is responsive to We the People!  It may boil down to being just that simple!  We pay their salaries…we may  need a provision to bring to vote a “yea or nay” (vote of confidence) that is actionable mid-term!

        • Valin

          poorhardworker
The Founding Fathers are spinning like a top over your statement. They didn’t trust We The People, and having studied their history, they had every reason not to.

We The People have Exactly the government we want. Note: This is not a good thing…but it is a true thing.

        • poorhardworker

Valin poorhardworker Well, I will agree with parts of your statements.  1) We have “acquiesced” enough to get the government we have and it is not a good thing!  2) What you said was true except for:
          3) The Founding Fathers feared an out of control government more than they feared We the People…because “We the People” constitute the foundation of the Consititution.  The Constitution grants We the People power over the elected government!
It is time to exercise that power!  The longer we delay the harder it will be…but the outcome will not be pretty or easy…win or lose!!  But…We the People know how to rebuild.  We know that we have survived deprevation before…and can do it again!  At least those educated more than 30 years ago!

  • ChrisDias

He’s a patriot RS: http://www.theblaze.com/stories/2013/06/23/snowden-leaves-hong-kong/ – and I can see his point. Besides, what’s he going to give the Chinese and the Russians that Obama hasn’t already given out??????

  • JD Olson

Here is my insight du jour on Sarah Palin. I am endlessly fascinated by how she phrases things. She starts in one place and you think you know where she is going then at the end you realize what she’s done is turned the thing on its ear. She does not speak in a conventional political way. She will use a familiar phrase and pull it completely sideways to fit it into another context. Do you hear that, too? Maybe that is why I end up imagining unlimited possibilities when I hear her. Women in my family sound like her. I’ve heard that Alaskans and Minnesotans share a linguistic heritage because of the migration patterns of people who came to and settled in Alaska. So Sarah is a mixture of the familiar and the unconventional for me. Maybe I just mean: She is alive.

  • henrychalder

I’m from the UK, here in the UK we find both FoxNews and Sarah Palin both a laughing stock

    • bahamianhoosier

henrychalder I’m from the USA and we all find UK to be a laughingstock in full meltdown death spiral! You have your soldiers killed 100 yds outside the base in broad daylight with no bystanders coming to the defense and your cities are being taken over by Sharia and you lecture us?! HA! Go enjoy extinction and kiss Akbar’s ass! How sad it must be for you all to know you were once the warriors of the world! Fix your own trash heap and get back at me brah! HA!

      • henrychalder

bahamianhoosier henrychalder you find the beheading of one of our soldiers who was brutally murdered outside his base a laughing stock?

        • bahamianhoosier

henrychalder bahamianhoosier No!! I find it a sad pronouncement of your govt and citizen timidity in the face of Muslim invasion. You brits who think your shores are utopia and attack ours is reprehensible and if I were you I would fix things on my own home before badmouth FOX or Palin. You would be so lucky as to have someone with as much integrity and honor as Sarah!

    • Always a Marine

Pity, that would put your fellow citizens in the same place as American leftists and reveals how far you’ve departed from a world and life view that results in liberty vs. license.

      • henrychalder

Always a Marine henrychalder FoxNews who’s owned by Rupert Murdoch is full of nonsense and propaganda. I was recently in Indianapolis and saw houses boarded up and people asking for money, yet you send money to Israel who rules you. You listen to the Zionist fuelled FoxNews and you hail ex Prime Minister Tony Blair described as a puppet to a Transatlantic Jewish Cabal, it was Tony Blair who turned a blind eye to a huge wave of immigrants coming into our country, now we are a nation defeated from within and traitors in Parliament, we might as well be ruled by the Cambridge spies. In the UK we also have biased news reports or news blackouts, so I’ve resorted to watching RT news. We are a nation that has been compromised by outsiders and lobby groups. Our country is now ruled by minorities and sodomites

        • Always a Marine

          henrychalder Always a Marine
It seems to me that in your use of the pronoun “you” (is it singular or plural?), it incorporates a lot of assumptions (or, projections) and generalizations, as to views on Murdoch, foreign aid, Tony Blair, etc.  They would be assumptions because I haven’t uttered a word about them.  And they would be generalizations because it isn’t true of all.  But – don’t let that interfere with your script/rant.

        • henrychalder

Always a Marine henrychalder OK then its an assumption that America adores ex Prime Minister Blair whose despised by us in Britain for destroying our country. Although he was in a demo that attacked the US embassy in the 70s. Its also assumed that American don’t know that Piers Morgan was editor of a newspaper that sent out fake photos of British soldiers apparently torturing Iraqi’s, a true traitor of his country. As far as rant that you accuse me of, then it must be due to a cultural difference, in Britain and Europe its sometimes referred to as passion. But i’m

        • Always a Marine

          henrychalder Always a Marine
Henry, if I misunderstood due to cultural differences then I apologize.  My point is that America doesn’t adore Blair – I don’t (along with many, many others) because I’m aware of his role in forcing “diversity” on your nation.
Similarly, I view Morgan as a traitor to more than your country.  I see him as a subversive to my country as well, and a supporter of tyranny.  He’s worked hard at undermining our Constitution and our individual rights.
As to a disadvantage re. the gov’t having access to our communications:  I think we’re in the same totalitarian boat.

    • poorhardworker

henrychalder Well…I consider the source…you just had radical Islams cut out the heart of one of your soldiers!  You immigration policy serving you well?  As for the myriad of scandals (Benghazi to NSA…I’m counting about 7 all told) surrounding Obama?  I would like to apologize to the world for the idiots in my country that voted him in the first time…and were stupid enough to do it a second time!!!!  I realize that my country is going down the tubes.  But do not forget…we got pushed to the limit once before…and we fought.  And we won.  And we are close to fighting again!  As those in the armed services say (Latin..I think) Molon Labe!!
This administration woke the lazy MAJORITY of America when he went after our guns.  A rest assured…we have not taken a nap since.  We do NOT want to fight…but we will…if that is what is required to secure our Constitutional Republic and regain our liberties!

      • henrychalder
