Sarah Palin’s New Year’s Day message:

Best wishes to everyone for a happy New Year! In the coming days there will be a great deal of debate about the goings-on in the political arena and the shenanigans in Washington. Constitutional commonsense conservatives must stay engaged and hold our “leaders” accountable to the voice of average everyday hard working Americans or we will very soon become an enslaved, bankrupt former nation of greatness. So, please keep the faith heading into this new year.

And for now, remember to be grateful for the blessings and opportunities God has given us as independent individuals, as caring members of families, as honorable businesses and communities, and as countrymen who understand this most exceptional nation’s foundations of strength. We’ve been given all this for yet another year; let’s not take it for granted. In this new year, as jobs change with doors closing and opening, kids growing, relationships evolving, and life throwing curveballs, may you resolve to stay engaged and optimistic. May you pick your battles wisely. And may you live life vibrantly! God bless you all and God bless our great country as we promise to live out 2 Chronicles 7:14. Here’s to liberty!

It's always so refreshing to read the words and thoughts of Sarah. So normal, so traditional and so peaceful. One day, when regressives are fed up with their sinful lifestyles, and want a God loving person to lead them, they will think of SARAH for President. It's just a matter of time.

Happy New Year to you and your friends and family, Sarah. God Bless you.

Would have been nice if the Gop, INCLUDING SP would have gotten behind Mitt on day uno.

if only Mitt got behind Mitt on day uno. I wasted my donations and energy trying to convince my friends and folks only to waste also their support ! grrrrrr

Mitt's advisors didn't want him to bring up the brutal murder of Ambassador Stevens, and the 3 defenders. A huge mistake Obama would not have made, and I'm confident Sarah Palin would have brought up in the debates.

Obama was handed a gift.

Would have been nice if Mitt had thrown all his weight behind Sarah Palin from the get-go, because he didn't really want to run, as his son told us a few days ago!

I think I agree.

Def. Sarah is super.

But it is hard to grasp that Mitt's son was telling the truth and not on an emotional reaction to defend dad from latest round of detractors: "He didn't want it anyway," which would be hard enough to swallow.

I guess it's those who persevere who get the real kudos: Sarah Palin.

I keep saying it; The abominable sins of America that offend God in the worse possible ways is keeping voters blind and misinformed. Until that changes, America will continue to spin its wheels, by electing incompetent leaders we deserve.

Each person can find peace in prayer and asking Him to help remove sinful desires.

I love how each time Scoop puts up a Palin post, the lowlives flock in from their Mom's basement to tell us how terrible she is, and we shouldn't listen to her.

Now think about that factor happening all over the web wherever people put up the same post about Palin. She has them hopping like frogs on a griddle plate.

Sarah Palin is a spent force. Fair or not, her reputation is in shambles and she was always overrated anyway. Her statements are derivative and pedestrian at best. She has never said anything that hasn't been said before in a more articulate way by someone smarter.

She only preaches to the choir. She is incapable of moving the needle one inch in our direction among those we need to engage and convince. We need brilliant, articulate statesman who convey the Conservative message in a compelling fashion.

The fact she ran with McCain before she was ready for prime time was an enormous blunder. She followed that up by quitting her job as governor in the middle of her term so she could do reality TV and write books. She then teased the base with a potential run in the last cycle with her bus tour but then just quit that too. The distraction was counterproductive to say the least.

She is in no better than Obama in many respects, great charisma with no intellectual gravitas to back it up. Like him, she is also quite the self-promoter. The press wasn't fair to her but she was all too easy to marginalize.

Like it or not, she is part of our failed past, not the future. We have to wipe the slate clean and be ready to lead after the upcoming fiscal collapse. Palin will not be playing a major role in that no matter how much we may like her. She is a spectator now, not a player. We need serious people, not hockey moms who became tabloid stars.

1endtimes2020
1endtimes2020

You are wrong 101. She was a very successful governor and would have been a successful President,

She is always refreshing. One day she'll be President.

PhillyCon
PhillyCon

Oh geez.

Who was your guy Romney? Look at all those "serious" people in DC. What a great job they are doing! Yeah, all this stuff is rocket science that only really "smart" people need to apply.

Palin may or may not be the future, but why do you have to knock someone on your side who is trying to fight? Do the liberals put down their own like this? No, in fact, they circle the wagons and support buffoons like Nancy Pelosi and Joe Biden.

"She then teased the base with a potential run in the last cycle with her bus tour but then just quit that too"

--------------------

Sarah Palin wasn't "teasing" ; the media were asking her if she's getting in and she has consistently said she was still weighing it! Then the media and establishment Republicans accused her of "teasing". Sarah Palin had her own plan and was not letting the media or anyone else tell her when she should announce her intentions.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"She pontificated on Fox, seemingly hoping to get drafted at the Convention without doing the hard work of campaigning in the primaries"

-------------

That is pure B*S gossip. There is not a shred of evidence to support your claim. Its all idle gossip.

colliemum
colliemum

Great posts, Jack, thank you!

Btw - it's worse than just idle gossip - this 'gossip' has been pushed by the Lying Screaming Meejah, with the help of the GOPe, since her nomination for VP in 2008.

It saddens me that there are still some conservatives (not that echosyst is one) who believe this cr*p.

Sarah Palin served 32 out of 48 months; the same percentage that Obama served of his Senate term (not including the two-year break he spent campaigning) and she accomplished everything she set out to do in 2/3 of the time.

Sarah Palin resigned because she recognized the cost that the frivolous ethics complaints were having on her state , and she saw how much of her staff’s time and her own time were forced to deal with those issues.

That entire campaign of BS lawsuits was meant to do nothing but hamstring the governor's office and bankrupt Sarah Palin.

She saw that if she stayed on as Governor it would continue to cost the state millions of dollars in wasted time and resources to defend against false and maliciously ethics complaints and doom it to gridlock.

Those frivolous lawsuits had already cost the state of AK close to $2 million; Sarah Palin had over $500,000 dollars in legal fees.

Sarah Palin knew that for the sake of her state, her country, her family, and her political voice, it would be best if she stepped aside from the governorship.

In an article Sarah Palin said:

“I said, ‘Enough. Political adversaries and their political friends in the media will not destroy my State, my administration, nor my family. Enough.’ I knew if I didn’t play their game any longer, they could not win. I would not retreat, I would instead reload, and I would fight for what is right from a different plane.”

She promised to keep the frivolous anti-Palin law suits away from the Alaskan people and to be more effective on the stump ( supporting candidates , fundraising, etc)

Sarah Palin was truthful on both accounts!

----------------

After the 2008 election Sarah Palin helped lead Republicans to the greatest congressional victory in several generations during the 2010 election with her endorsements and rallies all over the country;she has endorsed 73 candidates for the US House of Representatives and Senate; state governors and attorney generals. Her success rate was at 69%.

18 out of 20 targets in her Take Back the 20 campaign ; this was a 90% success rate!

Sarah Palin also had a very strong hand in the party’s few successes during this election . Sarah Palin campaigned for constitutional conservatives llike Ted Cruz, Deb Fischer, Jeff Flake, Paul Gosar, resulting in 5 conservatives being elected to the Senate and 32 conservatives to the House.

In 2010, Sarah Palin backed South Carolina’s Tim Scott. He won in 2010 and he won the re-election. She backed other African Americans like Allen West and Mia Love. Both of those candidates narrowly lost their races by 2,000 votes in the case of Love and 1,000 votes in the case of West.

Sarah Palin has also penned commentary on such topics as the unrest in Libya, the protests in Wisconsin, Obama’s 2012 budget proposal and State of the Union address, getting tough with Iran and standing with Iranians who seek democracy, challenging the specifics of President Obama’s energy policy, the omnibus spending bill, defeating the New START, opposition to state bailouts, tax policy, a message to Republican freshmen in Congress, opposition to quantitative easing, and more.

She has repeatedly been a leading voice—via television appearances and speaking engagements—against the dangers of ObamaCare and the risks of President Obama’s approach to energy.

Thank you and others for articulating why Sarah was and is still great.

Also, agree radically that the Dem's "circle the wagons" to protect one another and fare better for it.

Rep's MUST do the same, beginning yesterday, or continue their downward spiral.

I have followed Sarah Palin with respect and admiration since before she was the VP nominee - but I no longer find any encouragement.

They have pushed us. From Hussein's first day he has violated the rule of law and the Constitution, incrementally, steadily. No one has pushed back.

The media does not report the crimes and subversion. We wasted our time, money, hope and energy on that spineless Mitt Romney and the politiwhores of the Republican Party. He let the elction be stolen without protest and watched Allen West twist in the wind.

The firing of Inspector General Walpin incident in 2009 alone should have brought charges. Crickets. Now we have Fast and Furious, and Bengahzi. High crimes and treason from a dangerous marxist regime.

It is up to us, the people. Just as the Founders knew it would come to. And we are not organized.

The media is very biased, irresponsible, inadequate in reporting all important events, and has turned freedom of the press to freedom only FOR the press. Shameful that this the reality in America.

These are not shenanigans - it is utter subversion and treason. It is massive fraud and deception of the American public in full cooperation with the media - yes Fox included.

Indeed they are leaders in name only Sarah. We have no true leaders, no defenders of liberty and the Constitution. The ones who do stand like you, Allen West and Michele Bachmann were consumed and spit out by our own Party, a corrupt anti-Constitutional oligarchy, and their propaganda press.

Indeed we must pick our battles carefully. While you still speak out, where is this man Romney, this man who according to his own son did not even want to run for President at a time when 200 years of blood and sacrifice for a free nation were placed upon him?

No more calls, donations, campaigning. I am preparing. It is over for me with Congress and the Republican Party. I have spent the last 5 years getting behind men and a "system of government" that have all proven spineless, self serving and corrupt.

Many of us now will prepare, "pick our battles wisely" and will be ready as leadership forms. Leadership will emerge - but not from DC

B-Funk

You know, I bought into all that crap about her not being a good enough candidate, or that she wasn't ready to run. The more I think about it, the more I realize how wrong I was. We should be running conservatives- and only true conservatives- for every friggin position available. Nothing against Romney as he's likely a wonderful man, but he's not a conservative. So many people I've talked to since November just couldn't pull the lever for him because he doesn't truly believe in conservatism. Anyhow, back to Palin and conservatives... I have realized that I cannot- and will not- vote for a Republican or Dem ever again, unless they be a Palin or Rubio type. I absolutely hate having to pick the "lesser of two evils" when there are plenty of good people out there. Whether or not she ever runs, I refuse to allow others to dictate how I feel about a candidate's worthiness. This is how we can hold our gov't's feet the the fire!

pryrplz
pryrplz

Definitely important to keep eyes on the ideals.

But if those who "just couldn't pull the lever" had voted for Romney as lesser of...

We would have been many spaces forward from where we are now.

When it comes to election day, never, never throw away your vote.

Would have been better to work with someone who planned to begin with repeal of O.Care, 20% reduction in taxes, etc., etc.

This much is very painfully clear now.

But keep eyes on the ideals, yes...

Never, never trust 'Democrats' They're taking America to Communism. They are NOT the Democrats your parents and grandparents were supporting, if they were Democrats.

Even some Republicans are showing anti-sovereignty tendencies, with memberships in Bilderbergs and Illuminate. One World government is keeping American military in foreign countries. They need to be home and learn how to defend every part of the U.S. Let the world look after itself. Let Europe look after countries closest to THEM.

America can not afford to spend billions per week 'protecting' Europe.

We need a Ross Perot that won't quit and is a real go-getter with a lot of good sense.

America First should be the name of a Third Party. A Party that brings back all manufacturing we sent to China, and China ends up lending us money from the profits. "Made in USA" needs to be the first promise of the America First Party.

The first action as a government in education should be to make all schools and universities have moral professors who have as many Conservatives as Liberals. NO Communists or Socialists allowed.

Like, except for the Rubio comment.

Rubio is a Bush client and therefore a Republican through and through. He and Ryan will do what they are told in order to advance their careers as Republicans. Rubio is where he is because he did what Jeb Bush told him to.

This guy expresses my sentiments.....EXACTLY

"Senator Dianne Feinstein,

I will not register my weapons should this bill be passed, as I do not believe it is the government’s right to know what I own. Nor do I think it prudent to tell you what I own so that it may be taken from me by a group of people who enjoy armed protection yet decry me having the same a crime. You ma’am have overstepped a line that is not your domain. I am a Marine Corps Veteran of 8 years, and I will not have some woman who proclaims the evil of an inanimate object, yet carries one, tell me I may not have one.

I am not your subject. I am the man who keeps you free. I am not your servant. I am the person whom you serve. I am not your peasant. I am the flesh and blood of America.

I am the man who fought for my country. I am the man who learned. I am an American. You will not tell me that I must register my semi-automatic AR-15 because of the actions of some evil man.

I will not be disarmed to suit the fear that has been established by the media and your misinformation campaign against the American public.

We, the people, deserve better than you.

Respectfully Submitted,

Joshua Boston

The Pentagon said China had trained over 250 million soldiers. They are using profits from undercutting our manufacturing, and stolen manufacturers who were lured by greed, to ship jobs to China to build a huge military, including thousands of missiles. They hack Pentagon computers every day. They are buying U.S. land to manufacture in the U.S. with Chinese workers. They are working on a way to disable all electrical

and computer functions. It's a modern preparation to invasion.

Democrats want us to disarm. Don't disarm. Americans need them to match the 250 million soldiers China has. They might be preparing to invade North America one day.

Impossible? Not when America is indulging in millions of abortions, sodomy, pornography, even with children and kidnapped women, and is promoting anti Christ lifestyles. The attacks on Easter and Christmas is becoming stronger every year. Wrong is considered wrong, and wrongs are considered right. Did you notice?

'nough said.
