It’s not good enough for Seattle’s Michael Bennett to sit for the national anthem before the game. Now he’s taking his protest antics onto the field during the play of the game:

One thing I’ve noticed in the first two weeks of football is that in many games I see on TV, there are a lot of empty seats in the stadiums. Now there could be multiple reasons for this, but one has to wonder if these protests are keeping some fans from going to the game.

This is much worse in LA where you now have two teams, the Rams and the Chargers, vying for crowds.

As I said there are clearly multiple reasons at work for this. But I do think that if players like Bennett keep these on-field protests up as well as their national anthem protests, it might just give people another reason to stay home.
