Inhofe, General Austin at CENTCOM and General Dunford, commanding General in Afghanistan, weren’t even aware that Bergdahl was being traded for 5 Taliban leaders until after it happened. These are two generals, according to Inhofe, that he would’ve expected to know about this before it happened and said he’s never seen anything like this in his years in politics:
