Senator Inhofe to force vote on job killing regulations being implemented by EPA

Senator Inhofe told Mark Levin last night that the EPA has come out with regulations that force businesses to reduce their emissions to specific amounts even though there is no technology that will allow these business to do it. He refers specifically to Boiler MACT and Utility MACT, noting that these regulations are already being implemented and said they will cost hundreds of billions of dollars and millions of jobs.

So Inhofe announced he is going to file a CRA (Congressional Review Act) in the Senate for each regulation and if they can get at least 30 Senators to sign on to each one (which he says is not a problem), it will force a vote in the Senate and a simple majority can pass these or kill them. What this does is it puts each Senator on record as opposing or supporting these onerous regulations and with elections coming up, there is a possibility that a few red state Democrats won’t want to be seen voting for these job killing regulations. Inhofe believes Republicans are unified against these regulations.
