Senator Thom Tillis is doing what he can to free Pastor Brunson who was accused in Turkey of terrorism. In this interview he says the only crime he committed was serving as a Christian missionary in Turkey for 20 years.

Good for him. I hope he keeps fighting for Brunson and others who seem to be like the proverbial canaries in the coal mine – their oppression is a signal of the worsening extremism of Erdogan and the Islamists in Turkey, our supposed MidEast ally….
