I know I know, we’re not really shocked. But we’re still angry about it right?

Former Internal Revenue Service (IRS) official Lois Lerner will not get charged for targeting conservative non-profit organizations.
The Department of Justice announced in a letter today that it’s closing a two-year-long investigation into how Lerner used her position at the IRS as a to improperly intimidate conservative groups. Under her watch, the IRS purposefully withheld tax-exempt status from scores of conservative groups in order to slow them down.
… “Based on the evidence developed in this investigation and the recommendation of experienced career prosecutors and supervising attorneys at the department,” the letter from the DOJ reads, “we are closing our investigation and will not seek any criminal charges.”
That is awesome. It really makes you wonder what Lois might have been promised by a certain dog-eating totalitarian who shall not be named for her special services in tamping down the conservative and Tea Party groups that were organizing to defeat Obama in 2012.
On the plus side, I hear tell that Lerner is going to open her own tax help center for conservatives!!!
