The Earth has got a fever. And the only cure is more dust bowl. At least that’s what global warming prophet and profiteer Al Gore the magnificent told Kansas City residents this weekend.
The Goracle told a crowd at the Westin on Saturday that the dust bowl was “coming back quickly, unless we act” and used pictures and videos to urge every day Americans to make personal sacrifices to help avert Ragnarok.
Gore acknowledged that people may be fatigued with his predictions, which is is hilarious. You can read more about his talk at the Kansas City Star website.
Speaking of Al’s prophecies, here is a video from 2007 where he warned the polar ice caps were “falling off a cliff” and would be totally gone by 2014. This turned out to be absolutely true if by gone you take him to mean “expanded and growing.” Oh well, close enough for government work right?
I guess we could call it the Inconvenient *Poof*. You know, because it didn’t? Go poof? .. yeah I’ll work on that joke.
