So apparently you might be fined in the NFL if you openly criticize a gay kiss

I’m so tired of hearing about Michael Sam and the fact that he’s an openly gay football player. Of course, if after being drafted Sam actually makes the team in St. Louis he is going to be news all year, especially when someone says something to him or about his being gay.

Which brings me to what happened this past Thursday night. After Sam was finally drafted by St. Louis, an ecstatic Sam was apparently caught kissing his boyfriend on TV. Don Jones, Defensive Back for Miami, tweeted out the following when he saw it:

According to CBS Sports Jones’ tweets were in response to the kiss and not because Sam was drafted.

The Miami Dolphins have fined Jones an undisclosed amount and the Dolphins say Jones won’t be allowed to participate in any team activity until he completes a sensitivity training course. Jones has also apologized for the tweets and has deleted them.

Welcome to Obama’s fascist America.

UPDATE: I mistakenly said the NFL had fined Jones. It was the Miami Dolphins who fined Jones.
