SORRY pearl-clutchers! 9 out of 10 Native Americans AREN’T offended by NFL ‘Redskins’ name!

On Twitter today the phrase “9 out of 10 Native Americans” was trending and it’s in reference to a new poll that shows most Native Americans do NOT find the name “Redskins” from the NFL team offensive.

Sorry pearl-clutching social justice warriors! LOL!!

From the Washington Post:

Nine in 10 Native Americans say they are not offended by the Washington Redskins name, according to a new Washington Post poll that shows how few ordinary Indians have been persuaded by a national movement to change the football team’s moniker.

The survey of 504 people across every state and the District reveals that the minds of Native Americans have remained unchanged since a 2004 poll by the Annenberg Public Policy Center found the exact same result. Responses to The Post’s questions about the issue were broadly consistent regardless of age, income, education, political party or proximity to reservations.

Or, in other words:

I really hope this allows the team’s management to get past this ridiculous attempt to whitewash another popular aspect of our culture in order to appease social justice warriors. We got enough of that already.

And more great news about the poll – it shows Native Americans aren’t a bunch a humorless nitwits waiting around to be offended by everything. Unlike the perpetually offended tribe of Liberal-Americans.

We should celebrate and get the season started early so that the Buffalo Bills can win the Superbowl even sooner!!!!!
