Ted Cruz: Trump should WIN if he takes travel ban to the Supreme Court

The TedNado was on the Michael Berry show very soon after we all discovered the Ninth Circuit Appeals Court struck down Trump’s request for a stay to let his travel ban continue. He says that this judgement is not surprising, but that if the Supreme Court follows the law, Trump should win if he takes it that far.

Watch below:

More from the Hill:

Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) predicated on Thursday that President Trump’s executive order targeting seven Muslim-majority countries would ultimately prevail at the Supreme Court.

“The case will almost certainly be appealed to the U.S. Supreme Court,” he said during an interview on “The Michael Berry Show” in Texas. “If the Supreme Court follows the law, federal statues are straightforward, the president has this authority.”

He added the “Supreme Court is likely to conclude exactly that when the case is before it.”

Of course, we’ve seen cases like this where they should have been decided one way based on the law, but are decided on another based on the Justices’ emotions or political agenda.
