The Philippines is really going through some turmoil right now, with the military fighting ISIS in Marawi and now a hotel coming under attack from gunmen likely affiliated with ISIS:

THE SUN – DOZENS of tourists have been injured – with fears Brits are among those hurt – after gunshots and explosions were heard outside a resort in the capital of the Philippines.
The shooting took place at Resorts World Manila in Pasay City around midnight local time.
Footage posted on social media shows crowds of hotel guests running from the resort as gunshots were fired.
Another video shows casualties being rushed to hospital following the suspected terror attack.
While nobody has claimed responsibility for the attack, Philippine authorities have been fighting ISIS in parts of the country.
