After the media went after him for mishearing a question and answering inadvertently that he wanted Muslims to be registered, el Trumpo went on to clarify what he actually wants – surveillance of Muslim mosques.

I know that this isn’t terribly controversial among Americans, and that here in New York we had a surveillance program for Mosques but it was shut down over criticism that it was “racist” (even though islam isn’t a race) or xenophobic (not a real word anyway). I mean, is surveillance really against the Constitution if all they’re doing is collecting info by attending public events and talking to Muslim attendees?
