In an interesting interview with Bill O’Reilly on “Fox and Friends” this morning, he went into who he thought really won the last GOP debate, and seized on a debate that broke out between Rand Paul and Bill O’Reilly to explain why el Trumpo keeps staying on top.

In the exchange, Rand Paul studiously explains why Trump’s plan to kill the wives and children of terrorists would be against the Geneva Convention and thereby, unconstitutional. To this, Trump basically replied who cares. O’Reilly explains that the insistence on simply claiming that we can obliterate terrorists is what people like, not “pin-headed explanations of the Constitution.” And looking at the polls, it sounds like he’s right…
The rest of the interview is worth watching, despite O’Reilly’s extensive bloviating. But we’re all used to that.
