It’s getting more and more likely that Trump’s national security advisor Mike Flynn will let go because of the lie that he made Mike Pence trot out and tell the American public.
Krauthammer explains why he thinks this is a “cover-up without a crime” in a segment on Fox News:
Chuck makes some really great points here, but even he is befuddled by why Flynn lied about it when he doesn’t think he did anything wrong. He then says that Trump will be hurt no matter what – if he dismisses him he admits he made a bad mistake. If he keeps him, then it’s a slap in the face to Mike Pence.
