Three Muslims killed in North Carolina by hardcore anti-religion atheist progressive loon

It’s breaking news this morning that three Muslims in Chapel Hill were horribly executed by Craig Stephen Hicks, a man who was a self-proclaimed atheist. But he wasn’t just an atheist. Patrick Poole at PJ media characterizes him as a hardcore anti-religion atheist progressive:

A review of the Facebook page of the man charged in these murders, Craig Hicks, shows a consistent theme of anti-religion and progressive causes. Included in his many Facebook “likes” are the Huffington Post, Rachel Maddow, the Southern Poverty Law Center, Freedom from Religion Foundation, Bill Nye “The Science Guy,” Neil deGrasse Tyson, gay marriage groups, and a host of anti-conservative/Tea Party pages.

Remarkably, one of the four Facebook groups he had joined was “Religious Tolerance.”

Just a few weeks ago he had posted this to his Facebook page:

B9jNF-AIYAIvzGJPolice no doubt will be releasing further details of this case in the coming days.

The Daily Caller agrees and notes that MSM outlets have mentioned his atheism, but that’s about it:

The New York Times reported on the murders and mentioned Hicks’ atheism, but not his politics. CNN did the same, as did The Washington Post.

I’m not saying this had anything to do with his progressivism. Honestly, I don’t know. But if Hicks were a conservative Tea Party type, that would be all over the MSM.

One loon on Twitter completely ignored Hicks’ atheism, calling him a Christian terrorist:

Back to the actual shooting. It is possible this senseless murder was over a parking dispute:

Chapel Hill police said Wednesday that an ongoing dispute over parking may have led to a triple shooting Tuesday night at a condominium complex on Summerwalk Circle.

The article doesn’t say much else about it and we don’t know for sure if this was the motive or not.
