In what seemed liked a pretty tense press conference between State Secretary Tillerson and Russian Foreign Minister Lavrov, Rexy brought up the election meddling, and said that the U.S. might still impose sanctions on Russia.
Here’s Tillerson:
Rex Tillerson: Russian meddling in US elections a "serious issue… serious enough to attract additional sanctions" https://t.co/SKk2hxlC1R

Lavrov’s response was kind of odd:
Lavrov: State Secretary [Tillerson] hasn't threatened to use new sanctions. He hasn't threatened us at all. pic.twitter.com/0RrOxgmBQA

Actually, dude, he JUST threatened sanctions. So. Yeah.
But he challenged Tillerson to produce evidence – some are wondering why he didn’t do so at this meeting.
Lavrov decries "hysterical" statements from US House on Russian interference in election. Says Russia wants to see proof of US allegations.

"Not a single fact has been confirmed" about #Russia interference in US election. "Show us the evidence," says Lavrov.

So they’re pretty defensive about it, but will the U.S. follow up or just drop it after a bunch of tough talk?
