Top Senate Democrat Claire McCaskill tried to pile on to the hysteria this morning surrounding the new phony Sessions obsession, by stating emphatically in a tweet that she’s never met with the Russian Ambassador in her 10 years of Senate service:
I've been on the Armed Services Com for 10 years.No call or meeting w/Russian ambassador. Ever. Ambassadors call members of Foreign Rel Com.

But a quick search down her Twitter feed proved that’s not true at all:

In related news, Democratic Senator Joe Manchin admitted on CNN today that even he’s met with the Russian Ambassador:
It’s amazing how the media just latches on to any semblance of scandal with Trump but during the Obama years they basically yawned at everything.
UPDATE: Claire McCaskill has responded to controversy over her tweets this morning by using the same argument made to defend Sessions:

So it’s ok for the Dems and media to throw a ‘group’ meeting at Sessions as one of his alleged meetings with the Russian Ambassador, but McCaskill just shrugs this off as meh?
Also, there are rumors that she attended a secret meeting with Russia in 2015 over Iran:
