EL Newty joined in on the TrumperTantrum today by ignoring all the polling showing Trump is in the dumps, and simply saying that anyone who denies Trump is going against more than a hundred years of Democracy. Or something. Along the way he also admits that Trump is against “more open markets,” which I always thought Newty was for, but what do I know.

I find it funny also that Newt has said in the past that he lost the 2012 nomination to Mitt Romney because he underestimated how willing to lie the Mitt camp was. But in this segment, he says Trump won “fair and square.” Lies are only bad when they’re used against Newty, but they’re “fair and square” when used against others, you see. Seems legit.
