Charles Krauthammer, or Chuck, as he’s known to close friends, had an interesting point on Fox News while James Rosen was trying to spin all the leaked stories yesterday into outrage over the leaks. Chuck says focusing on the illegality of the leaks is self-indicting.
Let him explain why at about the 5:40 minute mark:
Chuck has a point. If Trump wants to blame all the scandals on leaks, well then we have to wonder why are there leaks? There are people in that administration that disagree with Trump, or believe he’s doing something wrong, and take action to subvert his agenda, or inform the American public about these wrongs, depending on your view. If they’re so evil an treasonous, why hasn’t he gotten rid of them? Isn’t he the most brilliant businessman ever? I actually see this criticism from a lot of Trump supporters – how can he drain the swamp if he can’t even clean up his administration?
