Today Trump explained his immigration executive orders at the Department of Homeland Security:

Notice that everything in these executive orders deals with the very uncontroversial subject of criminal illegals, just like Obama. Yes, we want them out and that is crucial. But the next question will always be what about the illegals that are here that aren’t committing any other crimes other than being here illegally? Are they just going to get a free pass?

We are hearing now that they want to get something more official done through the Congress. I have no issue with that as long as it doesn’t take years and years. But Trump needs to be honest with the American people and tell us where exactly he stands on the issue now that he’s in office. He certainly had no problem talking about it on the campaign trail.
