Trump Jr. got pretty angry at a New York Daily News writer who used a racial slur against his new girlfriend, Kimberly Guilfoyle. You might have heard about her – she’s that Fox News show host? Mhmmm. That one.
How did this get past her editors at the @NYDailyNews? Or do they condone this kind of talk? I guess hypocrisy, sexism & racist rhetoric are alive & well there.

Now…. being a Hispanic person of Mexican heritage myself, I must say that I have never heard that picking grapes was an epithet against Puerto Ricans. But apparently it is. Do they have grapes on the island? I have no idea.
Also Fox News is upset:
So they changed it from grapes to lotto numbers:
Jeez, if she lived in Boca, she’d be showing up at the widower’s house with a casserole before the dead wife was even in the ground.
Thing is, Guilfoyle is an otherwise brilliant woman. When it comes to picking men, though, she’d probably have better odds picking lotto numbers.
She’s now dating Junior, a guy so dumb he once urged people to “vote tomorrow” the day after the election.
She’s now dating a guy so dumb he retweeted the insane conspiracy theory that Hillary Clinton was running a child sex ring behind a pizza place and retweeted Roseanne’s vile tweet that George Soros helped the Nazis.
I guess there’s no epithet about Puerto Ricans picking lotto numbers?
SO the writer is saying she didn’t know Guilfoyle is half-Puerto Rican.
Absolutely no idea that Kimberly Guilfoyle is half Puerto Rican...and my column was in no way meant as a slur. Nonetheless I will change that reference online. I'm just surprised anyone would have assumed such a stereotype b/c someone is half-Latina. So sorry for misunderstanding— Linda Stasi (@lindastasi) June 13, 2018
I mean… I can kinda see that, but why would anyone make a joke about a non-Hispanic picking grapes?
