Trump picks largest donor to Trump foundation, Linda McMahon, for SBA

El Trumpo picked Linda McMahon to lead the Small Business Administration today, and the World Wrestling Entertainment mogul is pretty happy about it:

Trump cites her experience as a business-owner as the reason he picked her to jump in the ring and tag-team with small businesses, but he definitely neglected to mention this:

Vince and Linda McMahon, owners of World Wrestling Entertainment, gave a total of $5 million during a period when the man who may be the next U.S. president was making appearances on WWE broadcast specials, according to Internal Revenue Service filings. WWE did pay Trump separate fees for his role on its programs.

Yes, they are the largest donors to the Trump Foundation, and that’s not all:

According to a brand new report by The Washington Post, former WWE CEO and two-time failed Republican Senatorial candidate Linda McMahon recently donated $6 million to a super PAC supporting Donald Trump’s campaign for President of the United States.

Linda’s contributions in August and September alone reportedly make up nearly one third of the money raised by Rebuilding America Now, The Donald’s super PAC, making her one of the leading external donors for the Republican party during this election.

Does this represent a conflict of interests? It definitely seems to go against his promise to drain the swamp of powerful wealthy donors buying positions of power. But on the other hand, that kinda stuff is only bad when Hillary does it.
