Trump tweeted this morning about the indictments on Paul Manafort and George Papadopoulos, suggesting to Mueller that he should investigate ‘THE DEMS’:

With all the new information that’s come out recently, I get why Trump wants Obama, Hillary and others investigated. I do too. But screaming about it on Twitter everyday just seems a bit juvenile. Obviously he’s doing it so that Mueller gets the message, but there must be better ways to do this.
Also, CNN reports that Trump’s lawyer, Ty Cobb, told them that Trump doesn’t even know Papadopoulos. That seems to be what Trump is suggesting in his tweet as well. But CNN found a previous interview with the Washington Post where Trump was talking about Papadopoulos and does appear to know him:

I know they want to distance Trump from Papadopoulos but they need to get their facts straight. Either he knows him or he doesn’t. Maybe he didn’t know him well and that’d be understandable. But the perception is someone is lying about Papadopoulos and that will just lead to more questions and scrutiny.
