Trump: Scholars agree I have the absolute right to PARDON myself, but… [UPDATE: MUELLER APPT UNCONSTITUTIONAL]

Trump tweeted this morning that numerous legal scholars agree that he does indeed have the absolute right to pardon himself if he wants to. But he then asks why would he do that when he hasn’t done anything wrong:

This first came up over the weekend when ABC’s George Stephanopoulos asked Giuliani if Trump could pardon himself, which is why I think he’s addressing that now.

Trump is also celebrating his 500th day as president, pointing out that many believe he’s gotten more done in his first 500 days than any other president:

They may have had repeal and replace done, but it wasn’t what was promised by Trump or by Congress. And regardless how it got killed (by McCain), it didn’t get done. I’m still paying exorbitant premiums for my health care.

Trump also defended his trade war with Canada:

No, the American people will lose long before it wins. See Great Depression…

UPDATE: Trump just tweeted that the appoint of Mueller is “totally unconstitutional”:

This was brought to light by Mark Levin and Northwestern Law School Professor Steven Calabresi.
