El Presidente Trumpo didn’t like what he was hearing out of the mayor of San Juan in Puerto Rico, so he struck back on his Twitter account.
The Mayor of San Juan, who was very complimentary only a few days ago, has now been told by the Democrats that you must be nasty to Trump.

Mayor Carmen Cruz really ripped in to the response to the disaster, saying that people were dying and bureaucracy was killing them. You can see that here.
...Such poor leadership ability by the Mayor of San Juan, and others in Puerto Rico, who are not able to get their workers to help. They....

...want everything to be done for them when it should be a community effort. 10,000 Federal workers now on Island doing a fantastic job.

The military and first responders, despite no electric, roads, phones etc., have done an amazing job. Puerto Rico was totally destroyed.

Then later in the morning he smashed the media, who is doing everything they can to make Puerto Rico Trump’s “Katrina.”
Fake News CNN and NBC are going out of their way to disparage our great First Responders as a way to "get Trump." Not fair to FR or effort!

I will be going to Puerto Rico on Tuesday with Melania. Will hopefully be able to stop at the U.S. Virgin Islands (people working hard).

The Fake News Networks are working overtime in Puerto Rico doing their best to take the spirit away from our soldiers and first R's. Shame!

Notice what he’s saying here – he’s not praising anyone on Puerto Rico, he’s ONLY praising our responders. He’s made excuses for why the response in Puerto Rico has not been as robust as the one for Texas and Louisiana, but apparently those excuses only apply to the federal government and not the people of Puerto Rico.
It’s a weird framing that again shows how childish Trump can be. Someone is criticizing him, so he has to generalize and blame the entire island of Puerto Rico. And his defenders will absolutely agree no matter what, and the media will absolutely exaggerate the other way no matter what. Great place we’re in right now.
