Tucker Carlson really went after Jonathan Allen for his column trying to paint Jeff Sessions as having fringe policies that should bar him from being Attorney General.

I don’t think Carlson saying, “I don’t even know what that means!” is a terribly good argument when Allen points out Sessions called the Confederacy a “great achievement of the United States.” But a lot of what Allen says is pretty circumstantial. Tucker doesn’t even give the better arguments that Sessions aggressively sought the death penalty against the head of the KKK, and that he desegregated schools.
I’m not too impressed with Carlson – he seems more interested in having headlines screaming “Tucker Carlson Destroyed This Liberal” than actually debating something with logic and reasoning. But that’s the age of Trump and that’s why he has a show on Fox News. Enjoy.
