CNN reporter Drew Griffin actually went to the home of a woman yesterday and harassed her for promoting an event that Mueller said the Russians organized.
Watch:
A Florida woman who ran a Trump supporters page that unwittingly promoted a Russian-coordinated event on Facebook says she doesn’t believe that she was influenced by Kremlin-linked trolls https://t.co/DmgDRFRwyn pic.twitter.com/OAz5julCyA

How despicable. We know from the indictment that the Russians went to great pains to hide their true identity, masking themselves to look like normal grassroots Americans. So there’s no way the woman could have known she was unwittingly working with the Russians, so what’s the damn point of harassing her about it?
THIS. IS. CNN.
This didn’t go well on Twitter at all, with many users accusing CNN of harassment:
Despicable: CNN hunts down an ordinary citizen at home, accusing her of aiding Russia because she promoted an event on FB that Mueller says Russians organized.

Go ask Michael Moore why he did that. Ask Joy Reid why Russian bots RT her so much. Challenge power. This is bullying https://t.co/pLbRGRuS4I
I know Florine.

She is one of the most patriotic, sweetest, hardest working campaign volunteers you’ll ever meet.
What @CNN did to her here is shameful. However, she held her own and beat back their #FakeNews. https://t.co/608qFWJW3J
So @CNN tracked down one of the ppl unwittingly duped by the Russians — reminder that CNN itself was duped into covering Russian-generated rallies — and @DrewGriffinCNN & Co. thought it best to publicly shame this old lady. Now ppl are viciously harassing her online. A thread. 1/ https://t.co/TYcTtJwt6L

Congrats to CNN for tracking down and harassing this random grandma at her house. You guys are real heroes. https://t.co/aodapZ7FNN

Network that unwittingly promoted Russian propaganda now going door to door of private citizens on Facebook and hectoring them about unwittingly promoting Russian propaganda.

Let’s see if it pays off. https://t.co/p8k4rdJHl1
CNN breathlessly covered anti-Trump rallies organized by Kremiln -linked trolls.

This is why people hate the media. https://t.co/9Y1DXJEHoz
In case anyone was wondering why unprecedented numbers of Americans distrust and despise corporate mainstream media and are disengaging from party politics, here’s a vivid illustration https://t.co/l36bHm8iUN

THIS is why @CNN is a rag. Invaded her privacy, confronted her on camera and published her name. She needs to sue.

Even @brianstelter admitted he was duped by a bot.
Shame on you @CNN!!! https://t.co/09sc3aOAAz
Wondering when CNN will wait on Comey’s front lawn and badger him with “did you know you were duped by a foreign agent paid by Hillary’s DNC running a garbage dossier of Russian disinformation?” https://t.co/zTQKWvZLxg

I hope she does sue CNN and takes them for as much as she can.
There’s one point I neglected to make. The reason I didn’t cover how Michael Moore marched in New York anti-Trump rally that was organized by the Russians was that I failed to see the point. Just like this woman, he would have had no way of knowing that it was organized by the Russians. He was duped just like everyone else. Which makes it more absurd that CNN targeted and harassed this poor woman.
