Two new tracking polls have Trump LEADING

Last week we went through the tracking polls, showing you how Clinton’s support was cratering in one poll, but others were much closer.

So with only 7 days until November 8th, I thought we’d revisit them to see who’s winning now.

ABC News Tracking:
Oct 25: Clinton +12
Oct 26: Clinton +9
Oct 28: Clinton +4
Oct 31: Clinton +1
TODAY: Trump +1

So for the first time, Clinton’s lead has completely collapsed and Trump is now winning in the ABC News poll…barely. It is within the margin of error but I think the trend speaks pretty loud in this poll.

LA Times/USC Tracking:
Oct 26: Trump +1
Oct 27: TIE
Oct 28: Trump +2
Oct 31: Trump +4
TODAY: Trump +4

The LA Times tracking poll clearly shows momentum in Trump’s direction nationwide, just as the ABC News poll does. I’m not sure what this means in terms of the elections within states, but this can’t be a bad thing overall.

Rasmussen Reports:
Oct 25: Clinton +1
Oct 26: Clinton +1
Oct 28: TIE
Oct 31: Clinton +3
TODAY: TIE

Rasmussen has yet to give Trump any lead and they keep waffling back and forth between Clinton leading and a tie. So who knows with this one where it lands tomorrow with such a waffling trend.

IBD/TIPP:
Oct 25: Clinton +1
Oct 26: Clinton +2
Oct 27: Clinton +2
Oct 28: Clinton +3
Oct 31: Clinton +1
TODAY: Clinton +1

The IDB shows Clinton support collapsing this week, where it was growing last week. But still, it’s all within the margin of error. We’ll have to see if the downward trend continues tomorrow with the the lead going to Trump or if it Clinton remains in the lead.

With all of these tracking polls, one thing is clear. The race is very tight nationwide which means both Hillary or Trump could win it at this point. We’ll keep following these throughout the week to see where they go.
