The State Department announced that the U.S. embassy in Libya has been evacuated due to the threat from “free-wheeling violence” as Secretary Kerry put it.

No doubt this will raise the specter of the terrible terrorist attack on the embassy in Benghazi, where for many months beforehand there was an escalation of jihadist violence but the State Department didn’t deem it necessary to do anything about it, much less evacuate. No doubt, Susan Rice is scouring YouTube as we speak to try to find an unwitting victim to scapegoat for these events as well.
