UGH: Bobby Jindal’s foreign policy is going to need an overhaul if he runs for president

Well, it turns out Bobby Jindal’s foreign policy is going to need an overhaul before I could choose him to be the GOP nominee. Jinal, as he said on Fox News this morning, is very much in favor of taking out Assad and even using Turkey’s plan to put troops on the ground to do it.

He even says that our allies fear a vacuum for Assad if they go after ISIS:

I think we need every option on the table. It’s political correctness to pretend that we’ll never send in ground troops. I’m not suggesting that should be our first option. But what I’m saying is we need to go to the military, we need to go to our leaders and say what will it take to eradicate ISIS.

The reality is we have allies willing to supply ground troops, including Turkey, if this president would be serious about being there to get rid of Assad. I think there are a lot of allies worried if they go after ISIS it will create a vacuum for Assad, a vacuum for Iran.

So there are allies willing to supply the ground troops if they thought this president were more serious.

When asked by Bill Hemmer what his overall strategy would be, he doubled down on taking out Assad and elaborated a bit more:

Look here’s where I think this President has made a fundamental mistake. I think that he wants a deal so badly with Iran on their nuclear capabilities that he’s willing to take a bad deal over no deal.

In part, I think that is preventing him from committing to truly overthrowing Assad. That is currently the policy. He has said he is committed to overthrowing Assad but he hasn’t shown that.

And you go back to that failed red line in Syria and I think our allies there are more tentative, like Turkey, in terms of going on the ground.

I think we need to be providing arms to the Kurds. You’ve already got the Jordanians and the Egyptians and others bombing and participating in these attacks because of the horrific attacks on their own citizens.

So we’ve got allies that want to do more.

Jindal clearly doesn’t understand what’s really going on in the Middle East. The LAST thing we need to do is help Turkey take out Assad, one of the few remaining anti-Muslim Brotherhood dictators. Assad, for all his faults, is fighting the Muslim Brotherhood and protecting the Christians in Syria. Heck, the Christians in Syria fully support him in this war. See, they know the main reason Turkey wants to take out Assad is to further their plans to built their Ottoman 2.0 grand caliphate, a far worse prospect than Assad remaining in power. It’s all about Dabiq.

Someone please send Walid Shoebat to Jindal’s office STAT.
