UGH: Sarah Palin’s father HARASSED SIX TIMES by IRS since 2008…

From left, Chuck Heath Sr., Sarah Palin and Chuck Heath Jr.

Chuck Heath Jr. posted this about his father on his Facebook page a few days ago:

Coincidence? You decide.

My father, who worked multiple jobs and faithfully and honestly paid his taxes for fifty years, had never heard a word from the IRS. In 2008, his daughter was tapped to run for vice president of the United States. Since that time, he has been, in his words “horribly harassed” six times by the agency. They’ve tried to dig up something on him but he’s always operated above board.

Government and politics are ugly. Kudos to the few that are trying to clean it up.

Things like this really instill a fear of government retribution and have the affect of silencing critics. There are people reading this who will think twice before speaking out politically, especially against this administration because they don’t want to be targeted or harassed just because they have an opinion. It’s chilling to think that our government has been reduced to handing out political retribution just because someone is affiliated with someone who ran for vice president against the messiah.

So the IRS have been harassing him every year?

This comes close to what the 3rd Reich did to family members of their enemies, before or after they’d killed them. They called it “Sippenhaft”, i.e. where the close or enlarged family were harassed for what one member of that family did.
The Soviets also punished family members of those they’d sent to the GULAG.

This harassment is a sign of the same totalitarian mentality.

    • famouswolf

I’ve been thinking this for a while. This entire ‘administration’ seems to be following the same time line as Nazi Germany in the thirties for a fact. Five years into it makes it about equivalent to 1936, I guess.

      • lawngren

At least we won’t have to wait much longer ….

      Like in Kim
jong-un’s N. Korea (a buddy of US idiot) – whoever makes fun of him,
dies…ex girlfriend was machine-gunned with other members of North
Korea’s most famous pop groups and their immediate families WERE
      forced to watch. And
were then sent to prison camps, victims of the regime’s assumption of
      guilt by association

  • The story of Sarah Palin can’t be accurately told without explaining in detail how people have tried to kill her reputation with a thousand paper cuts in the form of baseless charges of corruption, attacks on her children, attacks on her husband, and attacks on her parents. Most anti-Palin rhetoric has nothing to do with her actual performance as Alaska Governor; they are mostly recycled Polish jokes. That’s all they’ve got, because they can’t point to a massive, hulking failure of her tenure there.

    • deTocqueville1

      And it has failed spectacularly!

      • I wish I could agree with that. Palin resigned because she realized that nothing could be accomplished as long as she had to devote time and her own money to answering the bogus ethics complaints, for which she was (by law) not reimbursed.

One infamous example: She was falsely accused of a quid pro quo for wearing a parka with the logo of Todd’s snowmobile racing sponsor while waiting for him at the finish line. That was tossed by a judge in minutes, but it had to be defended by Palin. Time lost, money spent, no way of preventing it from happening the next day.

        • deTocqueville1

But in fact they have failed. You are correct with the facts but Palin has been in a better position to advance Constitutional conservatism since resigning then she was before. Watch her again in 2014, stronger than even in 2010.

          • She could have more effectively done so if she was a viable candidate. At this point, she’s not.

Like I said, she had no hulking failures as Alaska governor, which would bode well for her, since the slam on her is that she is too dumb to be a decent executive leader, as if what America needs in Washington are people with high-falutin’ college degrees in lieu of common sense. But detractors aren’t even faced with her record now that they can just call her a “quitter.”

You’ve probably confronted and been confronted online by the haters (not hyperbole, they hate her), as I have. You can make the case time and again that she had to choose between being Governor and potentially facing personal bankruptcy or doing something that would make her money instead of costing her money. All they will do is the cyber equivalent of putting their fingers in their ears and say “La la la la, can’t hear you, quitter quitter quitter.”

How much more of this will Americans tolerate?

    • PVG

Good question! With a feckless House leader and leadership who are complicit with most everything this regime advances, not much hope for opposition.

    • iaintlyin

A lot more. Unfortunately I haven’t seen a website or an organization keeping tally of the audits and grief caused to conservatives, libertarians and/or true Patriots. Pro’bly many many people feel the problem of an audit is their personal problem when it mmay be that they’rr part of the politically motivated extermination of a SILENT majority.

      • lawngren

Or they know that, if an audit occurred merely because they donated to the wrong party, or spoke openly about the God-cursed tyrant, what would happen if they got downright American would be horrible.

    • deTocqueville1

It would seem that ‘Americans’ are increasingly truculent, the RINO GOPe not so much. Why is that?

    • tinlizzieowner

      Obviously, too much. 🙁

    • lawngren

Consider the alternatives and you will understand. We’ve been speaking up every possible way for five plus years, and we’ve had no significant support from Senators or Congress. Reason being that obama is an outlaw, and laws are no use in dealing with outlaws. And no comfy congresscritter (with a very few exceptions) is willing to go through what Sarah Palin went through. They didn’t campaign out of patriotism. They won’t fight out of a patriotism they don’t have. As for us citizens, you know what will happen when we refuse to cooperate any more. Especially now that the tyrant has owned the IRS and other fed agencies. So we’re all waiting as the water gets hotter and hotter. Trying not to think about the inevitable. Hoping for a rain of miracles from God. He’s the only one who can turn it around now, or even slow it down.

  • iaintlyin

Its chilling to think that the target party has let this actually be continued. The IRS targeting anyone that wants limited gov’t in addition, to having a big part of the Obamacare maintainance will have an effect on the lifespan of those targets. It’ll take the RNC about 20 years to wake up to the fact their membership is dwindleing, and not because of switching parties.

    • lawngren

I suspect the RNC will either be eliminated in America’s night of the Long Knives, or will grovel sufficiently to convince even democrats that they are boneless bags of submission. The GOP will cease to exist after 2016, if not before, absorbed or murdered by the democrat / marxist party.

  • deTocqueville1

Ozero’s America, one step removed from Stalinism. Kafka would have appreciated the irony.

  • PhilipJames

It must drive the left nuts that they have not been able to dig up one single scandal for Sarah Palin and now her family that they can use to destroy them. We need a special prosecutor for the IRS… unfortunately, we won’t get one for a few more years.

  • tinlizzieowner

And where’s Holder’s ‘Just-Js’ Dept. investigation into this? He went into Christie’s ‘Traffic Jam’ in less than 24 hours?

  • Yos Ges

Hey Frank Palone. I guess Justice should investigate this too.

The GOP, and especially the cover up artist, John Boehner are embarrassing. They’ve shamed themselves for their inaction. I remember that drunk, Boehner being asked if he trusted Obama, and that idiot with no brain cells, because of his alcohol abuse actually said, “I trust him completely, burp.”

They’re deathly afraid they’re going to lose power, and they are. It won’t matter what they do. That means the establishment GOP. as well. Even though they may not be outright responsible for the IRS targeting Americans, they give their tacit approval, by John Boehner not hiring a special prosecutor.

They continue to break the law, because Boehner is aiding them.

  • BearNJ

Right Scoop. Keep it down. Don’t you know the MSM has a bridge scandal to focus all their attention on.

  • Rick2340

I love these progressive government dirt bags – some who comment on this site – that say there is nothing to the IRS scandal.

  • MaMcGriz

Thank you, TRS for picking this up.

I say that with mixed feelings, however, since I know what the likely results will be for Sarah’s folks, who will probably be hounded and harassed in the wake of it.

“Things like this really instill a fear of government retribution and

Isn’t there a law against this???? Oh, silly me…. This is not a nation of laws anymore… Only a burgeoning dictatorship, perpetuated by a conspiring media!!!! That downs plays such outright lawlessness!!! I want a Congressman to publicly proclaim that all govt employees that violated the law under Obama holder Lerner etc will face trial for treason under a conservative president!!!

    • lawngren

Trial for treason under a company of Marines just back from extended duty in the Mideast. That ought to shorten the proceedings a good deal.

  • Subie201

The most corrupt bullying advancement of lawlessness this nation has ever seen! Lois Lerner and the garbage called the IRS should be eliminated! THIS should be our country’s new mission…flat tax…making these thugs and the IRS obsolete! The agency has a God complex…get rid of them once and for all!

    • lawngren

I have to disagree with one point in your comment. I do not believe the IRS has a God complex.

I think they have a satan complex.

      • Bill589

I agree. But then again, some say satan has a God complex – so . . . maybe it gets complicated.

But it’s true, in reality, by what they say and do, the IRS worships satan, aka: The Liar. The Lawless One. The Deceiver. The Accuser.

        • lawngren

Jesus was talking to their spiritual ancestors when He said, “You are of your father, the devil, and the works of your father you will do.”

      • Subie201

Perhaps you are correct because the IRS hurts innocent people…God doesn’t do this…satan DOES!

        • lawngren

          I agree wholeheartedly.

  • edsmanedup

There is a reckoning on the near horizon…be very afraid…

    • FreeManWalking

I don’t think we will see a JUST reckoning in this lifetime. There is no way to extract the justice that is deserved from one human being to pay for the damage mooooches husband has created.

      • Bill589

I agree. And I would have the just reckoning for the participants in a tyrannical lawless government be severe.

In AK, SP not only replaced the corrupt politicos, but also prosecuted them – and of her own party. That approached justice for those “corrupt bastards”.

I figure this is another reason why the establishments’ elite, and in a unique way the GOPe elite, do NOT want SP with political power and especially as president. She classifies them as, “Corrupt Bastards.”

  • lawngren

No coincidence. Totalitarian tactics. dictator with willing brownshirts in control of America.

  • aposematic

I have read reports elsewhere that the FBI will not file criminal charges against the IRS/IRS operatives for targeting TP/Conservative groups for the two years leading up to the 2012 election. We now have a corrupt to its core totally rogue Government without Laws and Congress at best shrugs or is complicit in the corruption of our now former Constitutional Republic.

    • ExRepug

The FBI does not “file charges.” It investigates. The United States Attorney’s Office files charges.

According to the WSJ today, the DOJ “didn’t find the kind of political bias or “enemy hunting” that would amount to a violation of criminal law.”

      • PNWShan

And just like their primary tactic against the conservative groups was Delay, Delay, Delay, their primary tactic against truly investigating this will be Delay, Delay, Delay.

        • ExRepug

Since FBI and DOJ investigations are confidential, you know this …. how?

        • ExRepug

I edited my comment. See above. The finding — or rather lack of finding — regarding violation of criminal laws was apparently announced today.

          • PNWShan

This is what I found in the WSJ today:
Kimberly Strassel writes about new rules in the IRS regs designed to target opponents of Obama:

“What is new is the growing concern by House Ways and Means Committee investigators that the regulation was reverse-engineered—designed to isolate and shut down the same tea party groups victimized in the first targeting round. Treasury appears to have combed through those tea party applications, compiled all the groups’ main activities, and then restricted those activities in the new rule.”

I also found your article about the DOJ not ‘hunting’. The FBI, which is under the DOJ, and which has also become politicized, found no evidence against the DOJ?! That’s like saying a parish priest found nothing wrong with what the pope said. Nothing that comes out of the FBI or the DOJ or the WH or the IRS’s own investigators is at all believable on this issue.

            • ExRepug

Well, since you are so obviously better qualified than the attorneys in the Civil Rights Division, how about identifying the criminal statute(s) that was(were) violated?

  • notebene

All we need to know is that if the elitist, progressive tools in charge accuse the Tea Party of something heinous, they themselves have already practiced it for years! Rule number one for all of us is to keep shedding light on these roaches and expose them for the filth that they are, because silence is not worth tolerating the bullying tactics of these amoral thugs.

Things like this make you too aware that one SCOTUS vote gave us Obamacare and makes you wonder what crap got pulled on Roberts. Meanwhile, honest, good American like Sarah’s dad is harassed. Look at him. He just screams ‘Grandpa’. And this was their target. Lowest of lowlifes do that.

“Things like this really instill a fear of government retribution and have the affect of silencing critics.”
