New documents released by the FBI this morning show that Patrick Kennedy, a senior State Department official, tried to convince the FBI to mark specific emails unclassified in exchange for a quid pro quo.
First, there’s a dustup between the State Department and the FBI over classification:

Next, Patrick Kennedy tried to offer the FBI a quid pro quo in exchange for getting emails marked unclassified:
Oh, boy. Quid pro quo allegation between State and FBI over classification. That is messy. pic.twitter.com/Kf5FcSFQjb

It continues:

The FBI refuses to mark emails unclassified, then within the hour Hillary publicly denies having sent classified email:

The FBI says it believed the State Department had an agenda to protect Hillary:

Amazing. Obama’s own State Department OUTED by the FBI with three weeks before the election. And here’s an important note on this from Stephen Hayes:
Impt note: The allegation of a proposed "quid pro quo" between State Dept/FBI on reclassifying HRC emails came from a senior FBI official.

Here’s more on this:
Kennedy, Sr State Dep official who sought FBI reclassification of HRC emails, also recommended State hire HRC aide who set up private server

Under Sec/State Patrick Kennedy recommended Bryan Pagliano (of Hillary server fame) be interviewed for State Dept. job, per FBI interview. pic.twitter.com/Mm6FOmhdkt

Key question: State Dept official asked FBI to reclassify HRC emails. Did he ask the same of CIA, DIA, NSA, NGA, etc? Did they comply?
— Stephen Hayes (@stephenfhayes) October 17, 2016
Ryan Stmt: "Sr State Dept official’s attempt to pressure the FBI to hide the extent of this mishandling bears all the signs of a cover-up."
— Stephen Hayes (@stephenfhayes) October 17, 2016
From FBI file, after being denied: "Kennedy continued to pressure the FBI to change the classified markings on the email to unclassified."

The media should absolutely be all over this. But even if they do cover it, I doubt they’ll give it the ‘Trump’ treatment.
