Ben Carson took a trip to Israel this week as he apparently continues to mull a run for president. While he was there, he told CBN News that he doesn’t think he’s met a single Israeli who doesn’t think Israel’s relationship with America is in jeopardy. Carson described that relationship like this:
“It’s sort of like your brother is going to school in a real tough neighborhood and you want to make sure he gets there safely and gets home safely, so you walk with him. And then suddenly you say ‘You’re on your own. Call me if you have problems‘. That seems to be how our relationship has gone.”
