This is getting ridiculous.
A man by the name of Chad Ludington has come out to accuse Brett Kavanaugh of lying about his drinking. Ludington went to Yale with Kavanaugh and apparently was a friend. But he’s now claiming that Brett got really drunk a few times and “down played” his drinking in the hearing the other day.
Here’s the bottom line of what he said in his statement:
I can unequivocally say that in denying the possibility that he ever blacked out from drinking and in downplaying the degree and frequency of his drinking, Brett has not told the truth. I felt it was my civic duty to tell of my experience when drinking with Brett and I offer this statement to the press.
Of course he also said he doesn’t want to publicly comment any further nor talk to the press. He wants to make his statement and run away.
But he did answer a crucial question from a reporter.
Reporter: What specifically did you he testify to that you believe is a lie?
Ludington: I have seen Brett drunk to the point he could easily be passed out.
Reporter: But you never saw him passed out?
Ludington: No. I never saw him passed out. But I saw him quite drunk. He saw me quite drunk.
So he NEVER saw him passed out, but he’s accusing Kavanaugh of essentially lying about not having blacked out? What the hell kind of accusation is that?
Brett admitted to getting drunk back in those days. He didn’t hide it, just as the reporter revealed in one of her questions to this idiot. And if we’re being honest, who didn’t get drunk in their younger days? I mean I didn’t, but I was not the norm. Most kids get drunk at some point and many do it a lot, especially in college. Who cares?!
Also we’re talking about stuff easily that happened decades ago, which is not easy to remember. Yet this backstabber wants to try and wreck Kavanaugh’s nomination with some idiotic statement about him lying and then run away.
What I want to know is who is paying him to do his civic duty?
Democrats have failed at every turn to derail Kavanaugh’s nomination, so now they are trying to get him on some technicality that he lied about things that happened when he was in high school and college. That’s what this statement is all about and it’s ridiculous.
