While thanking those who supported him and what not, Menendez made a veiled threat to those who were ‘digging his political grave’, saying he won’t forget who they are:

He can’t just celebrate his victory here with thanksgiving. No, he’s already planning to go after his political enemies. And believe me that includes more than just those who were digging his political grave. I think the ones he said he ‘forgives’ are probably not really forgiven.
That withstanding, Menendez is not off the hook yet:

That’s right. McConnell is now calling on the ethics committee to investigate Menendez.
I guess the ethics committee is going to be busy now that two Democratic Senators have been added to their list in one day.
