United Airlines is getting a lot of bad press right now because of how they handled a customer who didn’t do anything wrong other than not volunteering to leave the plane after United Airlines overbooked a flight.

I gotta admit that’s appalling. They admit they overbooked the flight and yet this man was literally dragged off the plane for not voluntarily unboarding when it wasn’t his fault in the first place.
You can say the man should have complied, and that’s true. But the fact that he didn’t isn’t going to hurt him nearly as much as it’s going to hurt United, and that’s how a lot of people feel it should be.
