***UPDATED*** WA high school shooter identified – [LIVESTREAM]

This is the initial report on a high school in Washington State that is on lockdown and being evacuated:

KOMO NEWS – At least two students were injured Friday morning when a shooter opened fire at Marysville Pilchuck High School, police and witnesses said.

Squadrons of police cars swarmed to the school after receiving reports of an active shooter opening fire.

At least two students were shot, and they are being airlifted to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle. There was no immediate word on their conditions.

Witnesses said the shooting took place in the school cafeteria. The shooter is believed to be still at large.

At least 20 police cars and multiple ambulances are responding to the incident.

The school is being evacuated.

***UPDATE: The latest from KIRO 7 in Seattle is that 3 students wounded, one in the head, and another is expected to arrive at the hospital:

MARYSVILLE, Wash. — At least three people have been shot at Marysville-Pilchuck High School. Their conditions are not known.

CBS News said a Providence Regional Hospital emergency room nurse confirmed three patients have arrived with gunshot wounds, one in the head; and a fourth patient is expected.

Marysville police said the shooting happened at 10:39 a.m. Friday. Authorities said parents should not approach the school.

Also getting word that the gunman maybe have killed himself. Not sure on that yet…

 
***UPDATE 2: I just heard the police officer at the press conference say the shooter is deceased. He did not elaborate.

 
***UPDATE 3: New details from KIRO 7 are that one student is now dead and four are injured:

At least four people have been hurt in a shooting at Marysville-Pilchuck High School, and the gunman, a student, is dead, according to Marysville police.

Police said they are confident there was just one shooter involved. The student opened fire in the school cafeteria. That student is dead but it is not known if the gunman was shot or it was suicide.

CBS News said a Providence Regional Hospital emergency room nurse confirmed three patients have arrived with gunshot wounds they are in critical condition. One was shot in the head. A fourth victim was transferred to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.

***UPDATE 4: Shooter has been identified as Jaylen Fryberg. Here is his Facebook page:

Fryberg was said to be a popular student.

Also, according to CNN TV, 3 of the shooting victims were shot in the head. They are still in the hospital.

***UPDATE 5: According to the Daily Mail, Fryberg was angry about some girl who spurned his advances:

However, Jarron Webb, 15, told the Seattle Times Fryberg was angry at a girl for spurning his advance, and that he shot her dead.

On the eve of the shooting, Fryberg wrote an ominous final post on Twitter that read: ‘it won’t last…. It’ll never last…. ‘
