WATCH: At Trump’s “Totally Not a Moore Rally” Moore rally, he brings up the infamous yearbook signature

At Trump’s Pensacola rally that was totally not planned to support Roy Moore, President Trump spent a good chunk of time supporting Roy Moore on Friday night.

“We can’t afford to have a liberal democrat who is completely controlled by Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer,” Trump said to the crowd on Friday, referring to Alabama’s Democratic Senate candidate Doug Jones. “His name is Jones and he’s their total puppet. And everybody knows it.”

“He will never ever vote for us,” Trump continued. “We need somebody in that Senate seat who will vote for our ‘Make America Great Again’ agenda.”

He even referenced the revelation that one of Moore’s later accusers, not part of the original bombshell report from the Washington Post, added a date to Moore’s alleged signature in her yearbook. She lied about it, claiming it was part of his original signing of the book. We know now that she added it herself.

That is not to say she forged his signature itself, that claim they continue to stand by.

Trump brought it up at the rally.

“I have to say this, we have to be fair,” Trump said. “So did you see what happened today? You know, the yearbook?”

“There was a little mistake made,” Trump said sarcastically. “She started writing things in the yearbook. Ah, what are we gonna do.”

He also added a deserved dig at Gloria Allred. Watch:

He is right that he is being fair. She did that. She lied. It puts her entire story under suspicion.

Still, it will be a talking point unto itself that he mentioned it. Prepare to hear about him “attacking the victim.”

By the way, here he is explicitly endorsing Moore, again.
