Last night Trey Gowdy dropped a little nugget in an interview with Martha McCallum when she was asking him about a section from Grassley’s criminal referral that was released yesterday.
I’ve got it cued up to 7:25:
McCallum asks Gowdy if he knew about the Graham/Grassley revelation that in 2016 a foreign source gave information to an associate of Hillary Clinton (domestic source) who then passed it onto someone in the State Department who then fed it to Christopher Steele.
Gowdy says he knows all there is to know about that and then suggested that the domestic source, the associate of Hillary Clinton, was someone who the American people are familiar with – someone Hillary has described as an ‘old friend who emailed her from time to time’.
McCallum responded “Sidney Blumenthal”? Gowdy says “that’d be really warm…”
