      Yes, daily, often, Rosary….

      • Joe

Still time for a Novena or two!

Glad to know holy rosary is in your life.

This crucial election 2012 needs prayers.

People who love freedom needs to invoke heaven for God’s mercy to flow from heaven to America on November 6, 2012 that God-fearing candidates will win the presidency and the vice-presidency.

May God have mercy on America.

    • Susitna

I am praying, I am crying, I cannot believe that we are almost there after 4 years of oppression, lies and uncertainty. This Country wants to be free again, free to love God, free to work and free to pursue happiness! Obama didn’t get it: It is about freedom stupid!

      • keyesforpres

Bingo! It’s about freedom. We get our freedom back and the economy will take care of itself.

      • crosshr

start next Tuesday midnight, Freedom rule !

      • Robby Warner

” 4 years of oppression, lies and uncertainty”…what? Are you sure you’ve been living in America? How have we not been free? Not being free would be voting for Romney who wants to take over your personal rights by banning abortion, limiting access to contraception, and deciding who can and cannot marry. THAT is restricting freedom. And you talk about uncertainty Mitt won’t even disclose the specifics of his plan, now thats uncertainty.

        • keats5

Freedom is NOT having to pay for other people’s abortions and birth control, and not having my children forced to people who openly mock Christian values in public school.

Freedom is choosing our own health care plans, and not forcing employers to dump our perfectly good existing plans. Freedom is NOT seeing my friends laid off because their employers couldn’t afford paying the Obama care penalty. Freedom is NOT having to pay the extra 20% for worse health care coverage. Freedom is knowing from one year to the next what business expenses will be, and not having to wait for a law to take effect before knowing what it does to the bottom line. Freedom is living in a country that can use it’s own resources. Freedom is freedom from debt, especially when we are indebted to people who would love to control us. Freedom is having control over who we hire or fire.

Freedom is living in a society where government facilitates commerce, or at least gets out of the way. Freedom is having control over to whom you rent a room in your house, understanding your own children live within. Freedom is not being forced to pay for PC gizmos in my car I don’t want. Freedom is not paying exorbitant taxes at the gas pump. Freedom is not having to pay taxes to die. Freedom is not being afraid to shoot someone who enters my house to do me harm. Freedom is openly teaching my kids to do the same. Freedom is saying whatever I want, out loud, without fear of being charged with one sided hate crimes which only protect certain “favored” classes of people.

          • Ronaldsol

Good for you! It’s so sad that people like Robby are totally clueless. Some how he and his leftist buddies believe that freedom is having things given to you. They forget about the costs, $6 trillion in debt ($18,800 for every man, woman and child), $3 trillion in new printed money (higher food, gasoline and utility prices), ObamaCare and Dodd-Frank (lost jobs, higher medical costs, frozen credit, stolen retirement medical care), EPA and NLRB (destroyed businesses, lost jobs and opportunity), and the list goes on. Most of these people some how think that more government is the solution. So, more debt, printed money and failed policies created opportunity? Ronald Reagan summed up the mess we have lived through under Obama in two maxims: “The more the plans fail, the more the planners plan” and “Government is not the solution to our problem; government is the problem.”

        • mike3e4r7

Man, you’re wasting your time here, loser. This crowd is too smart to buy the lies that you’re selling.

          • I was in the crowd there, what do u talk about? Dare u to represent me?

            • ItsJustDad

Hey Tim, I believe Mike3e was responding to the remarks made by the “loser” Robby Warner, not Mitt Romney….:)

              • mike3e4r7

Yes I was. Thanks. I thought it was pretty clear that that’s what I meant, but apparantly not to everybody.

        • Malkiel_kol_hakavod_la_el

You must have been in a deep coma for that to be your comment.. NO we have not been free – we have been under a socialist dictatorship… but now that you have waken from your coma you should know it has been 4 years of criminal acts by Barack Hussein Obama and his administration and restrictions on freedoms have been ongoing for 4 years – that all does end 11-6-12….

Now Women will be able to receive abortions on a State by State basis and Men will still be able to get married to a Woman – Homosexual Men and Women will still be able to marry each other on a State by State basis – Contraception this must be you joking – you get contraception the same way it has been purchased for over 30 years now…..

And Barack Hussein Obama’s so called plan that’s the same plan of the 4 years past and we only know the plan because we know the last 4 years….

And again Barack Hussein Obama and his administration are criminal and have done nothing but remove freedoms from each citizen of the United States…. I can not state that enough……

        • famouswolf

You are strictly small potatoes, aren’t you rob.

And, what about ‘we will open public lands to drilling’, ‘we will turn over healthcare to the states’, ‘we will cut spending, not increase debt’, etc. etc. is not specific?

He is not advocating ‘banning abortion’, but suggesting that abortion is not necessary in the majority of cases, and stopping federal subsidy of it. He is not ‘limiting access to contraception’ but merely suggesting tax payers should not have to pay for such private matters. As for marriage, it is the basis of Western civilization and the definition of marriage should not be remade to pander to perversion and thus disrupt that basis of our culture. The traditional family is the foundation that everything else is built upon.

obama? What specifics? What love of country? What dignity? What courage? What intelligence? What caring?

Please try to think for yourself, and don’t continue being a lemming and follow this evil, divisive, treasonous monster off the cliff. Wake up before it’s too late.

          • starvingchildren

Marriage isn’t the basis of just Western civilization, but all civilization.

            • famouswolf

True enough, but I am thinking through the lens of seeing this as an assault on Western Civilization specifically. Do you think Islam would tolerate gay marriage for a millisecond, for instance?

In any event, that is splitting hairs.

        • Nukeman60

Your free country will end on Tuesday. You might want to rent a boat in Miami to row over to your new free country just south of there after that radical, oppressive, freedom-restricting Romney gets elected. I hear he outsources everything to China, but in your case, I’m sure he’ll make an exception for Cuba. Ciao.

BTW, if you need some help with the cost, I’m sure we can work something out.

          • jondos

Interesting….how exactly did he govern in Massachusettes as a radical, oppressive, dictator? Perhaps you should do a little more economic policy research before spouting off.

            • famouswolf

Nukeman was being sarcastic, I think.

            • Nukeman60

Perhaps you should read who I responded to. And try to understand sarcasm.

If you think I was serious about the USA not being free, Cuba being free, and Romney shipping jobs over to China, you might want to loosen up just a tad, ’cause you seem a bit tight.

Forgive me for not putting /sarc after my comment. One would have thought it was obvious.

              • jondos

Sorry, I AM very edgy with people actually believing these kinds of things. I am more than amazed that ANYONE would support Obama at this point and time. My apologies!

                • Nukeman60

No problem. If I read my statement on it own, I think I would have slammed me, too. lol. I sometimes forget that my sarcasm may be taken too seriously and I need to give caveats.

This election cycle has been tense for all of us. After tomorrow, we can take a short breather before gearing up again for the fight.

I suspect Wednesday on TRS will be a day of celebration and giddiness.

        • conservocop

Abortion, and especially the cruel unthinkable late term abortion that the suddenly Christian ( ? ) Obama espouses, is an abomination in the eyes of God the Father of Jesus.

        • LiveFreeOrDieAmerica

You are a democrat drone, freedomophobe, wouldn’t know what do do with “freedom” that the government didn’t ration out to you. My freedom doesn’t come from the government. It comes from God. To answer your question, how we’re not free is we can’t flush the amount of water in our toilet we want, can’t buy the kind of lightbulbs we want, can’t buy the soft drink size we want, can’t use our own natural resources, we can’t drive the car we want to, can’t exhale or pass gas without being taxed for it, etc. Contrary to your false assessment, you CAN still buy all the birth control you want. I’m just not paying for yours, thanks. Join in union with anyone you want – just don’t expect me to call it marriage. I’ll even endorse same tax / legal status as real marriage – it’s just not marriage. Also, last I checked murder was illegal. Abortion except in various proper situations is indeed murder. Vote for the liar in chief and you get what you deserve. Far less freedom, but all the condoms you can use – for now.

        • sybilll

I cringe knowing that my hard earned tax dollars paid for your education. NDAA? Kill list? It’s OK ‘cuz our guy is doing it, right?

        • pballa

Are you sure you’ve been living in America? How have we not been free?

WOW! You truely are ‘clueless’! Obama has signed more exectutive orders than any other president in history. He’s trying to give over America’s sovereignty to THE United Nations. That includes trying to take away American’s right to BEAR ARMS…What is wrong with people that are STILL voting for a man that HATES YOU, HATES ME and hates EVERYTHING that America stands for? You are signing away my childrens future and I won’t allow that to happen. We are a CHRISTIAN NATION, not a MUSLIM NATION! Obama needs to LEARN THAT!! He apologizes for the BEST COUNTRY in the world at every chance given! He bows to KINGS and RULERS. Ignored Israel and B. Netanyahu. How bout BENGHAZI where he “LET” our 4 American’s DIE! Boy is this a ludicrous group of peope…Look up the meaning to
“INSANITY”–It means doing the same thing OVER AND OVER, and expecting a different outcome EVERYTIME, LOL…That’s what we would have with electing OBAMA again—–INSANITY!!! That’s what the people are that are voting for him—I believe somehow, someway, they have been brainwashed.
OH MY GOD! You are trying to make an argument of being “FREE” over “BANNING ABORTION”-AKA KILLING BABIES…. LIMITING ACCESS TO CONTRACEPTION–MSM LIE—WE JUST DON’T WANT OUR TAXPAYER MONEY FUNDING IT! It’s CHEAP…get a job and get your own contraception so you don’t have to ABORT babies! As for not being free over who can and can’t marry…God is the ONE who oversaw this sacred vow thousands of years before you and me.
I could keep going…but I think MOST people get the point!

        • Susitna

Dear Robby, with all due respect. I have a brain and a stomach to fill up with food, I am not only a reproductive organ. I want also to be responsible for my acts and don’t need anyone else in my bedroom, but my man. Other very important issues will have to be resolved, but Romney is willing to discuss and not to dictate. Do you know the content of the approx. 1000 executive orders signed by Obama in the last 4 years?
          Please check out this video:
God bless you and many thanks for your attention.

hey, I lost my Dr. because he retired at least 10 years ahead of when he anticipated due to nOcare, can’t sell my house, my friends small business shut down due to rules and regulations costing him 1/2 his profit, I bought a new car that has less metal in it than my bbq, I wait until I have three chores to do before i leave the house because gas is ridiculous, I can’t find out the truth about Fast and Furious or Benghazi, I can’t burn a pile of brush accumulated from the last storm, the schools are teaching my neighbors kids about tolerance of other cultures and they spend 0 ( that’s a zero) time on teaching how we were attacked on 9/11 (x2) or how this country struggled to get us to be the greatest country in the world, I can’t legally have a gun to protect myself (I don’t have four people in my county that I’d ask to vouch for me) against the criminals that find a way to arm themselves, the kid down the block can’t wear a t-shirt that has her older brothers USMC unit printed on it nor can she have a lemonade stand without her parents worrying if she’ll be shut down/ questioned/harassed by any one of 4 police unionized police forces, it would behoove me to speak in hushed tones about anything contrary to the present regime because the people that endorse it often retaliate by scratching my car…. shall I continue

          • That was an awesome rant! Loved every word! Please feel free to continue anytime!

    What’s with unskewed polls?

Suddenly they have o up five points?

What is this, a bait and switch to try to depress Romney supporters?

George Will just gave it to Romney with 321 electoral college, he’s up in Michigan and Minnesota, holding everywhere, Catholics are being instructed to ‘be Catholic’ today, and o is up five? What the he**?

    • Joe

      Check again

      Romney up by 4.2 %

I have my Tin foil hat on – Do you ?

I can make and send you any style you desire >>

      • famouswolf

What’s going on? Are there two unskewed poll sites, because I KNOW I was not imagining that?

But, thanks. I almost had a heart attack, there. I’ll just put it down to more liberal a**hattery.

        • SoLongSong

ACTUALLY, what BUGS me about unskewed: Right now they have Dems winning the senate 52 to 48 for Repubs. THIS is troubling, because without a majority in the senate, we can’t get anything done – including getting rid of Obamacare.

HOWEVER, being weary of being worried, I went and found several sites that have us winning the senate with a comfortable margin.

          I feel better now.

          • famouswolf

Thanks, I feel better now too.

          • Nukeman60

The Senate is going to be tight. There are a few states that are nip and tuck, and I’m hoping the Romney swell will carry us over the top. But it will be a long night for states like Indiana, Florida, Missouri, Massachusetts, and Connecticut.

            • Orangeone

Let’s not count out MN for senate either. Klobuchar is up to her bottom in the Tom Petters billion dollar ponzi scheme

              • Nukeman60

Is that making a big difference? I’m seeing Mn as a secure Dem Senate seat. It sure would be nice to have that upset.

                • Orangeone

Klobie is falling almost as fast as Barky Boy

          • capelady

Just remember… the polls said that Scott Walker would lose the recall election and he won with a bigger majority than the first!

            Polls can be very wrong!

            • Orangeone

Exactly and also predicted the Dems would win large in 2010. Let them underestimate the Tea Party and Mittmentum (credit to whomever coined this)

          • Orangeone

Reconciliation only requires a simple majority to rid this country of the ObamaCareTax destruction.

            • Landscaper

Does Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi take long walks in lighting storms?

              • Orangeone

??? Reconciliation is still required for ObamaCare and that’s how it will be defunded!

        • Joe

You must keep a hat on

What size do you want ??

Any pets in your home ?

Here are some styles to choose from

              Even for pets

They become very obedient after they have a hat on

                Oh, OK.

No, I didn’t recognize you as a regular here.

I am very angry, short tempered, scared and irritable. Not much of a sense of humor these days.

Tin foil type hat, finally gotcha.

I really did come across that site showing o up five, though. NOT imaginary. I have no explanation.

For the last few weeks I have been laying low

I like you am VERY concerned

BUT – The last few days have made me feel better

But I still have deep concerns of fraud

I try and keep a light mood – but it has been a chellenge lately I admit

WELCOME to the SCOOP and my insanity – or as RSHILL says – CRAZY A$$ Joe

I’ll try to regain my sense of humor.

                • When we win, I’m sure it will return! All of us are a bit on tenderhooks over this election. It’s easy to see and understand why you’d lose your sense of humor. I try to keep mine. It’s the only thing that keeps me sane!

                • Orangeone

And neither does the money trail. Oh how I hope that R Squared retains my services to find the hidden stimulus billions.

Loved the Rocky theme. It’s big here in the Phila area.

    • SaraPFan

I don’t see Obama up five on any poll on UnSkewed Polls. Romney is in the lead on all. Which link are you looking at?

      • famouswolf

It was on top of the sites listed, just ‘unskewedpolls.com’. Somehow I got into a site that looked different, but had polls claiming o is ahead five points overall. Then I found the one I had looked at before, the one Joe posted below. I am still scratching my head, I think it is a liberal ploy of some sort to dampen our morale…

        • Joe

You really need a HAT !

          • famouswolf

            Please explain.

Don’t believe the leftwing media. They said the same thing about Carter against Reagan.

      • famouswolf

Apparently I ran afoul of a leftwing site with a similar name to the unskewed polls site I had been going to. It was like stepping into the Twilight Zone until Joe gave me the link to the real one.

    • capelady

Election fraud? There is plenty of it… probably the worst ever, so Romney has to win BIG to overcome it.

    • tshtsh

Cannot remember exactly or the author but there is a quote that goes “there are lies, damn lies and statistics”.

      • “The term was popularised in the United States by Mark Twain (among others), who attributed it to the 19th-century British Prime Minister Benjamin Disraeli (1804–1881): “There are three kinds of lies: lies, damned lies, and statistics.” However, the phrase is not found in any of Disraeli’s works and the earliest known appearances were years after his death. Other coiners have therefore been proposed, and the phrase is often attributed to Twain himself.”

        • tshtsh

Thank you, Wolfie, I should have done my homework.

          • OH… I”m sorry if you think I was somehow suggesting that… I truly wasn’t… I just love looking up quotes and references. And when I saw you say can’t remember who said it… I thought, not knowing either: “Challenge accepted” and made it my business to find out. It was news to me too. God bless.

            • tshtsh

Oh, no Wolfie, I just did not have a chance to look up anything the kids were waiting for me. I find the internet dangerous like a crazy word association game. Say Kate comes to mind, then Shakespeare, then Elizabeth I, then Elizabeth the II, then was King Arthur real–absolutely no rhyme or reason somehow and it is many hours later.

In 2008 we were looking for change, this year we are looking for change of leadership!

  • This is great, Thank You Jesus!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh, I love the loving energy that surrounds the Romney family. This is history in the making, and folks, please choose a clear path forward for the United States of America. The world is waiting and watching.

  • Patriot077

I heard that unskewed polls show the Dems retaining majority in the Senate too. Does anyone know more about that? I think we need to pick up at least 4 seats and the only one I know that is locked is Ted Cruz in Texas

  • Wow! The crowds just keep getting bigger and bigger for Romney!! So

  • sjmom

Checked the Action News site and the temp at the rally is 45 degrees. My husband was out today and said its really chilly and damp. God bless those who came to the rally.

    • Joe

Any idea how many people there ?

      • sjmom

I read somewhere 30,000 are in attendance.

        • Mensaman62

I was in that crowd but couldn’t get an accurate count 🙂

It was a great, but cold, day. Four and a half hours I spent there to see Mitt.

  • Thank you, Right Scoop!

    • Oh yes. I’m praying that God gives them strength to endure the next couple days. They have to be exhausted.

      • famouswolf

They HAVE to be. I’m exhausted just from the worry, engagement and pure fear invested in this.

Slept about six hours the last week in particular.

  • Ooohhhh!!! Mitt going off script. Right on!

    • marketcomp

I’ve heard this story before but for some reason I never get tired of hearing it. Strange!

      • I watch most of Mitt’s speeches. The part I was talking about is where Mitt was ad-lib. But yeah, all his stories are great.

  • Orangeone

Scoop family: Here’s some scoop from the Paul Ryan rally in Bloomington, MN this afternoon.

The rally was held in the Sun Country hanger. Very appropriate location so Ryan’s plane could land and pull right by the hanger opening! With only 18 hours of notice, this far left leaning blue state turned out 9,000 Romney/Ryan supporters! The hanger was full and there was overflow outside of the hanger. In 40 degree temp, Minnesotans braved the cold and received a great shout-out from Paul Ryan.

I was very lucky to be in the front row of general admission and captured a great, albeit a little blury, pix of Paul Ryan moving through our line. I’ll post it as soon as I figure out how. And yes, he looked me in the eye wearing my red “I Did Built It T-Shirt” and shook my hand.

We were given free signs, “Vote for Country”, “Women for Mitt”, “Minnesota Believes”

Ryan spoke for nearly 45 minutes and the crowd adored him. Someone in the front had a sign “Vikings Fans for Ryan”. And that got a bit of attention given the friendly feud between the Green Bay Packers and the Minnesota Vikings. And yes, we had many, many cars with WI license plates with WI being only 30 minutes from our airport.

BTW, Romney is 1 ahead of Obama, 3 months ago Obama was up by 28. The crowd went crazy with Michelle Bachmann presented results of the current poll.

I’ve taken enough space. I will post pixs once I figure out how and will post ones from the Romney Response team once posted to Twitter. Theirs are professional, mine, not so much.

Thank you. I am watching from Australia. The world is watching this historical event.

      • Michael musial

I just watched it live from the Gold Coast. Wishing I was back home to I could have attended.

      • Orangeone

        Bless you!

      • poljunkie

        Where in Australia?

        • Thumbnail

Brisbane. I can’t wait to get rid of Gillard. She is a disgusting piece of work – worse than Obama, mean, divisive, deceitful and destructive.

          • poljunkie

Oh. We visited Australia a few years ago. Loved it.

We are big AC/DC fans! HA. Saw them in Sydney with 60,000 of our best friends.
On the way to the show we got into a fantastic political conversation with the taxi driver. The man was incredible. We had no idea that AU doesnt have a bill of rights?

We really had a great time.

            • Thumbnail

We don’t have a bill of rights, but we don’t have anything like the first amendment in our constitution either. If USA can’t protect freedom of speech with your first amendment, then we have buckley’s chance of protecting ours here.

              • poljunkie

We were suprised. He was telling us about some one that had been arrested and was just being held. Guilty until proven innocent. I would have loved to talk to the cabbie longer- but the concert was waiting.

Anyway- We loved Australia. You are lucky to live there. We went all over. Tasmania, Hobart. Hamilton Island, Hayman Island. Melbourne, We also hiked Kosciuszko–and stayed there for about 3 days. It was a cool little village.

          • poljunkie

Yes, when she was elected we knew she was going to be a toughie. She has been very left leaning. I remember looking up her background and saying- yes, that makes sense.

Edit: oh geez, just looking at her bio while sitting her, she is shamefully liberal!

      • spottedreptile

I’m from Melbourne, and haven’t missed a day of this campaign. I’m so thrilled for Romney and Ryan, and for America. Australians need Mitt Romney too. Just pray we get rid of Gillard and all the Lefty lizards in Australia next year.

      • Thank you, Thumbnail. We need and appreciate your support.

    • conservative58

Orange – I was so excited reading your post. I have been watching as many of these speeches online as possible, and can only imagine how thrilling it would be in person.

Both Ryan and Romney are really coming into their game and keep hitting it out of the park! And seeing the huge crowds is amazing!

      Thanks for sharing!

      • Orangeone

It was an undescribable feeling and one I’ll likely never experience again.

    • BikerHoop

Awesome, Orangeone!! I’m glad you were able to attend. I’ll bet you’re psyched now! It’s great that MN has swung to the red side… it’s been a long time. I’m from WI and am experiencing the same thing. Wisconsin is red for the first time since Reagan! Oh yeah… I think the “Viking Fans for Romney” and the “Packer Fans for Romney” ought to get together and have a big party Tuesday night!!

      • Orangeone

I’ll spread the word in MN if you spread the word in WI!  I bet we could find a place to celebrate that is on the border so we help both states with revenue generation 🙂  We had lots of WI cars in the parking area today, welcomed with open arms 🙂

        • BikerHoop

Man! I’d sure like to have something arranged by tomorrow evening, but that probably isn’t going to happen. How about inauguration day? That allows some time to do something.

          • Orangeone

Sounds like a great plan!  And safer than tomorrow night.  I don’t know about WI, but there are riot threats in MN.

  • Fireworks!

    • marketcomp

      They are definitely enthusiastic!

      • It’s rather insane how much so.

    • Mensaman62

They were cool as I was walking out!

  • marketcomp

What an impressive showing! Looking at this you would’ve thought he was President alreay!

    • BlueGood

He is !! according to Candy (Creepy) Crowley today…(snark)

  • OMG! They are mugging Mitt! They LOVE him in PA! And they’ve waited for up to 5 hours.

  • 28,000 reported by the secret service at this rally. 30,000 reported in the Ohio rall the other night. Meanwhile, President Obama held a rally with Stevie Wonder and only 200 reported supportes showed up. Looks like we are sending Obama back to Chicago.

  • p m

Heart in mouth moments now as he mingles with the crowd. Thank God for the Secret Service for keeping them all safe.

Great speech, great huge crowd again, enormous flag flying over everything. Love it. Thanks as always RS for bringing us this.

    • Patriot077

      Dittos, pm.

And I thank you too, Scoop! Don’t know what we would have done without your stellar website!

  • Okay, the speech is over. I wish that Mr. Romney would just get back on the bus. That crowd is overwhelming. Now I’m praying for the Secret Service.

    • proudhispanicconservative

Lol, it is but is out of love….

    • Starfish52

Isn’t it terrible that we even have to THINK that way? I want to feel safe again – this is the man who can bring that about by setting an example for all of us. God Bless Us. Keep saying the mantra, “We the People”.

  • proudhispanicconservative

People I was late for the party but from the look of it, it was great. I want to emphasize something we will win a lot of states that Obama won and it will be because the evangelical vote is going to come out swinging because they see the threat Obama is to religious freedom. Also the cathlolics were read a letter today and this whole weekend from their bishop to vote with their conscience and I hope many people listen to it.

    • sDee

Our Priest said today that he did not vote for the party, but for the man.

It reminded me too, of this that Pamela Geller had today…

To those Jews planning to vote for Obama

Are you prepared to explain to your children not the principles upon which your vote is cast, but its probable effects upon them?

Irrespective of your endorsement of liberal sentiments, of fairness and “more equal distribution,” will you explain to your children that top-down economic policies will increasingly limit their ability to find challenging and well-paid work, and that the diminution in employment and income will decrease their opportunity to marry and raise children?

Will you explain (as you have observed) that a large part of their incomes will be used to fund programs that they may find immoral, wasteful and/or indeed absurd? And that the bulk of their taxes go to no programs at all, but merely service the debt you entailed on them?

Will you tell your children that a liberal government will increasingly marginalize, dismiss and weaken the support for and the safety of the Jewish state?

Will you tell them that, in a state-run economy, hard work may still be applauded, but that it will no longer be rewarded?

Will you explain that whatever their personal beliefs, tax-funded institutions will require them to imbibe and repeat the slogans of the left, and that, should they differ, they cannot have a career in education, medicine or television unless they keep their mouths shut?

Will you explain to them that it is impossible to make a budget, and that the basic arithmetic we all use at the kitchen table is not practiced at the federal and state level, and to suggest that it should be is “selfishness?”

Most importantly, will you teach them never to question the pronouncements of those in power, for to do so is to risk ostracism?

Are you prepared to sit your children down and talk them through your vote on the future you are choosing for them?

Please remember that we have the secret ballot and, should you, on reflection, vote in secret for a candidate you would not endorse in public, you will not be alone.

      Way to go Orange!

    • Great pics! Thanks for sharing!

  • proudhispanicconservative

I liked he mentioned the word liberal I think for the first time, I would’ve been great if he would’ve used it more.

  • It is not Mitt it is getting rid of Obama that is getting people fired up. Mitt is just the vehicle.

    • RobertGman

I beg to differ. Mitt has great charisma in his own right. He’s genuine and people saw that in the debates. After months of Obama tearing him down, it only took one evening to strip that from people’s perception.

Romney is going to be a great President.

      • poljunkie

Admittedly, he wasnt my choice during the primary. With the pressure on him he has really improved and fine tuned his presentation over the past months. He has become stronger, and as you said he has a large amount of charisma.

The first debate showed strength. The Al Smith dinner showed that he has a sense of humor and also wanted to call Pres Obama out on things that he “couldn’t necessarily” say in the course of day to day campaigning.

I trust that he will implement an agenda to promote a smaller government, lower taxes, less regulation, less over sight, while at the same time promoting the free market.

The prime reason that Gov Romney is right for America NOW is that our Country has
become very divided over the past four years.

We are divided over the Union/non Union jobs.
Our race, our religion, being gay/straight, Gun ownership… we are constantly put at odds over if we are wealthy or middle, or working class, which tax bracket we are in, and even the cars we drive.

Over the past four years we have been pitted against each other –
over nearly every issue. And it has become more than a difference of opinion.

        Guess who started this division?

        His name ISN”T Mitt Romney.

        • Being a naturalnews.com kind of guy, I will be paying close attention to see if the small farms keep getting raided, and who he appoints to head up regulatory agencies. If he continues the smack down on raw food producers and organic food people, I will know that he is going to be no less of a tyrant than Obama.

The other area that I will be keeping a keen eye on is whether or not he installs the Goldman Sachs boys into his cabinet. Is he going to support a Fed chairman that will continually pump $40B into the banking system every month, or put someone in who will quit the Wall St. bailout? (QE3) Will he support holding down interest rates, or let them come up to correct the bubble?

I don’t expect him to create a sovereign currency. If he got that going, I would jump out of my chair and kiss him on the TV. Don’t expect to have to do that though.

The next phase of skeptical vetting will begin in January.

          • poljunkie

I’ll be disappointed if he goes the way of Ben Bernake.

Ron Paul ‘s idea of auditing the fed would be a good step in the right direction.

            • A full public audit would be the end of them, and put a huge smile on my face.

              • poljunkie

The QE ‘s are crazy, over the top, and mindless.

I agree we need to have a correction.

                • Corrections are tough, because it would mean hard times guaranteed, and politicians don’t get more popular with that agenda. If interest rates were to come up so that the bubble could deflate slowly, there would be a chance at a real recovery, but other things would have to be done to counter the economic decline that would come with higher interest rates. Shutting down regulatory agencies would be a good start. Government spending would have to go down about $1T per year, and environmental strangleholds would have to be lifted to fire industry back up.

Our economic base is all but dead, so it will take some real serious and quick changes to get it going again.

The banks have to fail, and start over. Their derivative debt is what QE3 is gong toward propping up. The stock market would have to fall to about 1/7th of its current face value, and be built back up on reality. Electronic trading has to be dealt with, which is one regulation that I agree with.

The social systems have to be phased out. There is not choice in that. They will fail anyway, and taking the money out of the economy to support failed systems cannot continue.

I could go on all day, and you probably know it already.

                • poljunkie

Oh I know. I have been on another site for a couple hours going back and forth with a guy who was insisting that 1) GM had roared back to life. He didnt care about the loans from tax payers and then wouldnt listen when I said they werent paid back.
                  2) He only cared that someone in his family could get their pre existing condition of asthma taken care of now under Obama care. Never mind that most people and their private insurance has gone up 2500.00 a year.
                  3) He said his Portfolio was doing awesome. I said the portfolio may be looking better but if he thought about it he would know that it is due to the companies hoarding their cash and sitting on the sidelines. They are worried about the economic future so aren’t investing /or doing and research and development. In the short-term the paper looks good- long term it is very impactual and can and will have major consequence. This spells “market correction” (which would be healthy) but ultimately but which can lead to recession very easily.

With the housing market sill uncertain and over 20 million+ still unemployed- This is a horrible situation.
The commericial real estate hasnt even begun to hit bottom and fail yet. I think it will- unless something is done to shore up the unployment numbers.

Speaking of unemployment numbers, if Romney wins, I think the Government agency that reports will slowly begin to tick the numbers up- starting in Jan. Probably to 12%. They will say they are calculating differently, ect. But Romney is going to have one heck of an uphill battle.

                • It will be interesting to see what happens to the unemployment numbers. I never thought about that.

I think that a correction would bring housing values down about 50%. Not good for people under water, but necessary. All the fraudulent debt that the banks have racked up should be written off, and if the banks were allowed to fail, then housing prices falling would be a good thing, because as a “real” economy emerges, housing would be affordable. Government should step in at this point and create a new currency, then forgive the underwater debt on mortgages.

I bought a house in 99′ for $87K. I sold it in one year for $97k. Housing went up 20% per year for five years after that. I didn’t know why at the time, but I refused to buy into it, while many were rushing to buy and hoping to make money or gain quick equity. It was all fake inflation of prices. It has to go back down.

It will either go back down because of a gradual market correction, or because of a financial crash. If the financial systems crash out of control, and the American people are held to the debt, then we will lose everything to the banks that put us here, because the big boys are waiting to buy everything up for little of nothing. That is one way that we can literally lose our country, and is how the banksters have sucked the wealth out of societies for hundreds of years.

                • poljunkie

It all sounds painful doesn’t it?

I can’t even discuss Real Estate without gettin a little upset. We have a couple properties. We keep throwing money at them, but they aren’t worth as much as we paid for them. Thankfully, we love our house no matter what the value is.

                • Hopefully, you can hold onto what you have in the long run. I got lucky and bought family property for half of its assessed value, so I am sitting at about what I expect values to drop to. I don’t have a bank loan, it is carried by my grandmother, and will transfer to my dad and two uncles when she passes. If they don’t sell the mortgage to the banks, I might be able to stay here in a collapse. I am buying silver so that I can pay the property taxes down the road.

I’m just full of hope, don’t you think? 🙂

                • poljunkie

Yes we’re in for the long haul.

    • BikerHoop

I have to admit, I started out that way… anybody but Obama. However, after listening to Mitt Romney’s speeches and seeing his sincerity, devotion to his wife and family, his true love of country and Veterans my mind has been changed.

I’m now voting for Mitt to vote for Mitt.

No, he wasn’t my first choice and Ryan wasn’t my first choice, either. But then I got to thinking about how long it took for our country to get this way and realized it took more than one election cycle. We can’t expect to fix it in one cycle, either. It’s going to take a while. But at least Romney is going to get us on the right path. The path that will return us to American exceptionalism and prosperity. The path that will finally free us from our servitude to the Middle East for their oil. The path where Americans will once again be the most productive in the world.

And the path that the citizens of the world have said they need to see us on so they can once again look to us as the last great hope of freedom.

      • I am not ripping Ronmey he will be a good transition to a conservative. I am saying alot of the crowd is fired up to get rid of Obama. Not looking for a fight or to downplay anything. I want the 1st lady off my tv.

        • BikerHoop

Ha! I can certainly understand wanting her gone.

    • white531

That was a disengenuous comment, Brian. You’re not going to get away with a statement like that here on Scoop. Try again.

      • celestiallady

He is posting the same on other sites too. What gives?

    • white531

Are you just Brian, or Brian Jones? You don’t sound like Brian Jones.

      • Is_Sense_Common

Pretty sure it’s just Brian. Brian Jones has a different avatar 🙂

    • mike3e4r7

Mitt may just be the vehicle, but give the vehicle some credit. You’re right RobertGman. Mitt does have charistma in his own right. He may not be everything you would want in a President, but he has shown to me over the last couple of months that he definitely is a leader, is very competent and is a decent man.

    The Mother Teresa Emergency Novena

In an emergency say the Memorare prayer 9 times in a row.

    This is the prayer:

Remember O most loving Virgin Mary that never was it known in any age that anyone who fled to your protection, implored your help or sought your intercession was left unaided, inspired by this confidence, therefore I fly to thee O Virgin of Virgins my Mother, to you do I come, before you I stand sinful and sorrowful, do not O Mother of the Word Incarnate despise my prayers but in thy mercy graciously hear and answer them.

    • Theconservativechic

      This IS an emergency situation.

Reason for the test, is that I made a normal comment, that gave me an error message.

          • white531

I’ll try again. Here was the post.

Wayne Phelps. Where have you been?

You just stated everything, in one post, that we all believe in. I don’t know where you’ve been all this time, but I sure hope you make Scoop, your major hangout place.

            • white531

              That was strange.

              • Is_Sense_Common

Isn’t it fun when Disqus acts up?? 😉 Hang in there!

    • ablingcain

a lovely prayer and not only for Catholic. All Christians know that Jesus has heeded his mother’s intercession at the wedding at Cana. Should his Holy Mother not be asked to have Jesus shed more Grace on this land of Liberty so that we can continue as a Republic, Under God and trusting in God?

  • white531

I would ask the Moderators to look at my last few posts. I made a comment to Wayne Phelps, that was denied. No apparent reason.

    Let me know.

  • I don’t recall any election in recent time where we had crowds this size. Romney represents the people who are the brick and mortar foundation of this country. They will show up in a wave, the Dems and Leftist malignant media have refused to believe. In case you need to focus on what we’re voting for on Tuesday, here is a pick me up, “On the Eve of This Election.”

The people reject evil and seek to restore good. As Mitt said, “vote for love of country.”

    • famouswolf

      For Love of Country.

    • Is_Sense_Common

I must say that I’m impressed with his ability to bring us non-mittens folks together to oust Barry & the gang out of office. It’s been a heckuva road, but I do find myself looking forward to yelling at President Romney instead of pResident Barry & the gang.

Eric Holder, Valerie Jarrett, Moochelle, Big Sis, Shillary, David Axelrod, and the lot of them can’t get out of town soon enough.

Thanks, PM. It’s my Facebook avitar at the moment. I have many poppies hanging around, but I always buy one from the Legion box. My dad was a Canadian Navy Veteran, my mother was with the WRENS in Scotland, so, I have a rich history around me.

        • p m

Bet I know why you have so many already – like me, you can’t bear to throw them away! Still buy tons for self and friends when they lose theirs too. Our Dad was RAF in WW2.
          Lest we forget, indeed.

  • I hope this is indicative of the rest of the country. If so, it should be a landslide election come November 6Th. Get out and vote and make it happen.

  • spottedreptile

Well, by my reckoning there are now only 48 hours to go until America kicks this petulant moron out of the WH and installs a true leader. It’s roughly 9pm EST now.

A new article out by Fox News today has confirmed that SEALs Tyrone Woods and Glen Doherty were using M48 light machine guns with laser mounts.

What laser capability did Benghazi team have?

I’m not 100% sure what they actually had, there’s a couple different kinds, but my suspicion is that they were using something like this:

    IZLID Aiming Lasers

Mitt Romney is destined to become the best President for the times we live in. It is heartening to know he will not be ‘flexible’ with Russia, as Obama told the Russian Prime Minister he would be after his re-election. Instead, the Russian PM will see American backbone. It is also refreshing to know Mitt Romney will not be intimidated by China’s manipulation of its currency, to put American workers at a disadvantage, and lure American manufacturers to China. Those low cost exports are even dangerous, with too much lead in toys, electrical products that cause fires, and the fact that American technology is stolen through computer hacking and imports of our aircraft and cars. These are all used to build a huge military force. The Pentagon has said China has already trained over 250 million soldiers—and Obama wants to cut our military spending.
Mitt Romney will help American manufacturers to return home, so Americans can resume making all those basic, everydat products sold in China’s department stores in North America.
Imagine this: Iran threatens to destroy Saudi Arabian oil fields. China doesn’t want U.S. currency and is using the Japanese Yen for trading already.
What will happen when China’s exports to America stops suddenly” Do we have the skilled labor to substitute those exports?
What will happen when Eastern U.S. doesn’t receive Middle East oil anymore? Won’t it be good to know that Alberta oil from Western Canada can flow east in an existing pipeline? Ane isn’t it good to know that the Keystone pipeline will finally be built from Alberta into the United States?
Why wouldn’t Obama want that” Why does he say nothing about the the U.S. Ambassador in Libya who was tugged and pulled and beaten up, and sodomized and finally murdered? Do we have a muslim sympathizer in the White House>
Why doesn’t Obama condemn the crucifixion of Egyptian on crosses, the burning of Coptic Catholic churches, killing of priests and members???
Is it too much to ask? Why did Obama tell Catholic Georgetown University, as far back as April, 2009, that they must cover all Christian symbols before he would speak to the student body.
Would a ‘Christian” President ask for that?
Why does Obama agree to kill a baby in the womb at 9 months, and the killing of the baby if it is still alive after surviving?
Why does Obama want our innocent children to learn about sodomy?
Why does he want the U.S. to become a Communist country?–after all, he was well trained in Chicago.
If he is re-elected, it will be hell on earth for the gullible Americans who are swayed by whoever gives the best speech—even if it only say what people want to hear.
Obama is a Big Talker and Little Doer. Romney has proven he is a Big Doer and means what hesays.

Obama can fool some of the people some of the time, but not all of the people all of the time.
It’s time to put an end to the Great Pretender—the Great Deceiver, amd for mericans to return to its traditional heritage and love of God.
To do less is to invite disaster.

Wow, the crowds attending his events lately have been fantastic. Bless those folks who stand out in the cold weather for hours to show their support! It’s very encouraging.

I find it interesting how many “blue” states now have republican governors and majorities in their state houses. Those states are doing much better than in 2008, not because of 0 and I think the citizens of those states know it. 2010 was a big turn around for them.

I also think the “blue” states that have a lot of energy (oil, gas, coal) know that 0’s regulations are killing their industries and aren’t very happy. And they’ve not seen the whoppers that will hit them if 0 is re-elected.

It doesn’t matter if you’re a D or an R, groceries, gas and power costs are higher now for everyone.

It doesn’t matter if you’re a D or an R and serve our country in dangerous places, or parents of those that are serving. You now know that 0 will not have their backs to keep them safe.

If EVERYONE is awake, how could they not see the obvious? (Yeah….. I know a few of them that apparently only watch MSM and have their heads in the wrong place.)

    Love the photo, thanks Scoop.

Missed the live telecast, watching it now, slobbering all over my computer. God Bless USA!

Here is my gift to everyone tonight courtesy of Twitchy. MoveOn.org claims “Romney supporters held against their will at PA rally.” You can’t make this up.

    • Now that was weird to read. We were standing near the campaign bus entrance and saw plenty of people leave without any security guards stopping them. Looks like the left is covering for the fact that Romney is pulling 30,000+ crowds easy while Obama is struggling to make 3,000.

And don’t forget, no one in PA knew about this event until Thursday afternoon when the campaign emails went out. It was not even up on the Romney campaign website on Thursday evening. So we have an event that was announced 3 days before the event and 35,000 people showed up. What does that tell you, Mr. Obama?!?!

      • RosiesSeeingRed

And for every one Romney supporter who goes to a rally, there’s 1000 supporters who don’t. What does THAT tell you. Mr. Obama? 🙂

Oooh! The Rocky Theme Song – that’s the ringtone on my phone! <3 it!

Tuesday night, he's gonna get on TV & say, "Yo America – WE DID IT!"

    • Time for some raw eggs Tuesday morning before voting! Uhhhhh maybe not 🙂

  • We got back about an hour ago from the event. Took all 3 boys. We were standing about 5 people away from where his campaign bus pulled in. I just posted photos at my Facebook page which you can go to directly from the link in my name. I am processing some video footage of the crowd and Romney’s entrance right now and will post when finished.

    • Videos are up on my Facebook page now. 3 of them: walking to the security tents to get a sense of the crowd before it got dark, panning of the crowd at the event, and Mitt’s campaign bus rolling in (with a close-up of my 6-year-old son, Alex, on my shoulders at the 1:20 mark :-).

        Bravo! Thanks for sharing.

God’s blessing on the Romney’s, the Ryan’s, the supporters, volunteers, maintenance and set up crews, bus drivers, security, fellow elected officials like Marco Rubio, Rob Portman and so many others who have criss crossed the country w Romney to help restore this country. Newt Gingrich, Gov. Sarah Palin, Herman Cain and many others who have offered insightful, positive and objective commentary on the race. Talk radio Levin, Limbaugh and Fox news for covering everything fairly.

And most of all….God Bless America

    Please everyone, pray.

This is great news! This rally took place in Bucks Co, my old home, and a county surrounding Philly. I can feel the excitement, and the impending Romney win! A great picture in the comments here http://fundamentalrefounding.ning.com/forum/topics/romney-will-win-pennsylvania you can even see Carl Cameron in the foreground of it. I’m adding this to that thread!

  • Aileen Quinn in musical “Annie” (1982), singing legendary “Tomorrow” as little orphan Annie.

Tomorrow! Tomorrow! I love you Tomorrow! You’re only a DAY away!!

    • Is_Sense_Common

That was the song I woke up singing!! 🙂

      • It’s a truly inspirational song. 🙂

I was going to link “The Final Countdown” by Europe seeing as I like Rock, but somehow “Tomorrow” seems to fit all the better. 🙂

  • PhillyCon

The Rocky theme was a very nice nod to the local flavor. Let me tell you, this HUGE. Don’t forget this is NOT red country. It’s purple country. That should tell you something.

My friend was there with his family, and said it was incredible. Plus, he told he met alot of former Dems.

  • please do not be fooled – Pa. will go to Obama and he will positively carry the state by at the least 6 pts. Book it!!!!

    • Bwaaahhhhahahahhahhhahha!

You forget how many families in PA have friends and family in NJ and NY. FEMA has been worse during Sandy aftermath than during Katrina. More deaths and more people without food and water. They all know Obama left NJ to go to Vegas for a campaign rally and they will not forget.

PA is coal and natural gas country. The EPA is preparing a new round of regulations to shut down coal after Romney is elected before he takes office. The people of PA know this and are fed up with good paying energy jobs being shipped to Brazil and Venezuela where Obama has invested while blocking drilling permits here in the US.

PA is hurting and the people here know it. As I drive to work in South Eastern Philly every day, there are 20 Romney signs for every 1 Obama sign. I was at the Romney event last night with 35,000 others.

  • Mensaman62

I was at this rally and the crowd was electric. Froze my a** off though but it was worth seeing our next President in person!
