Mollie Hemingway over at the Federalist gave an excellent takedown of the media yesterday on CNN’s ‘Reliable Sources’, arguing that the media has lost it’s credibility in this election cycle and isn’t even even trying to get it back:
I love how she turned around Stelter’s ‘some people’ trust the media’ comment, pointing out that liberals do trust the media because they get everything they want. BOOM!
She continues:
LOL! She hammers Stelter again when he claims Obama didn’t spend his presidency bashing Fox News. Obama not only attacked Fox News over and over, but basically went to war with the network and even attempted to cut Fox News out of the press pool!
I laughed when she said “What you’re going through right now is what it felt like for the last eight years.”
Trump isn’t wrong in some of his attacks on the media. As with everything, he goes overboard. But he’s right that the media was against him and pulling for Hillary throughout this entire general election. And the American people are sick of the media taking sides and that’s just another reason why Trump won last week.
