WATCH: Newt Gingrich has a surprising prediction about the election

I was just thinking yesterday that Newt was notably absent this week while Breitbart was taking over the Trump campaign.

Well Newt was back at it this morning with a surprising prediction of his own:

Wow that is surprising, given how terrible Trump is doing in the polls. No wonder Trump tweeted out that he is gonna be Mr. Brexit. He and his surrogates obviously believe he’s going to make an epic comeback to beat Hillary by a surprising margin.

It’s good to think positive and this is probably the right message for a fledgling Trump, to not give up and all.

But we’re gonna need to see some proof before we ever buy into this notion that Trump is going to be the comeback kid. Because from where I’m sitting, this positive thinking is verging on delusion.
