Gov. Scott Walker today announced on his Twitter that Foxconn, the tech company that Apple uses to build the iPhone, is building a plant in Wisconsin which will bring up to 13,000 jobs to the state:

This represents an initial investment of $10 billion dollars which will yield 3,000 jobs:

That’s probably a very true statement actually. Of course that’s also Trump’s way of making sure everyone knows that he made this happen.
I’m glad we are seeing businesses bringing jobs back to America. I don’t like how Trump threatened companies early on to keep some jobs here. I don’t know if any of that occurred during this transaction, but the goal should always be for tax and regulation reform to cause companies bring jobs to America en masse because we are much more competitive, not because we have a bully president.
In any event this is definitely good news. And FoxConn is only the latest announcement like this:
